That's what you took from this?  They went toe-to-toe with Western in consecutive years, and frankly looked better today than UND did yesterday.

Strand has basically worked miracles there, coming in and inheriting a smoking wreck of a roster after Hastings left.  BTW three of Wisconsin's goals yesterday were scored by players who went with Hastings.

You need to do more than grit & grind. Eventually, you need to score. Minnesota State doesn't have enough pure scoring talent & they lost in major part because of it. Simple

The pep band was supposed to make the trip to Loveland but had a flight that was cancelled at the last minute unfortunately. There should be a decent turnout of alumni around Denver and other parts of Colorado, though. Maybe Sam Malinski makes an appearance in the crowd or on the broadcast with the Avs probably having returned from Winnipeg by now.
