Bucci posting that the night before the biggest game of his career for his current team is just an odd move. (Hopefully not) But there’s a chance now McKenna is gona have to answer this post game from a reporter, don’t envy the spot he’s in. Weird move from Bucci because you’d think he would get this dynamic.

if it’s a an actual troll move from Bucci at the CHL that makes it somewhat funny though haha

It’s also odd considering the whole fiasco he created when Kernan committed here, so he’s already done it once with McKenna. He quote tweeted Chyzyk’s bat signal and hinted at McKenna, then seemed to make a mockery of the fact that it was Kernan. 
 

He’s the worst. As the so-called college hockey ambassador, he can’t see past the Big Ten and Hockey East.

I’m clearly in the minority…but I like him. He’s always been a huge fan of college hockey when not a lot of folks were. I was with him in Tampa after the boys won a natty and he loved Nodak and the fanbase. To me he’s fine.

Me too. We’d have a total log jam…but it would have be someone you’d have to take. Would probably force someone to the portal after the year.

I think for fun and games we allow the sabres to cheat like this. Seeing them still find a way to mess it up while doing so would be hilarious

Ya I’m in the same boat I actually don’t mind him. He just has some very odd takes / actions out of no where some times haha. Outside of that I appreciate his love for college hockey. Yes he loves the star players probably too much but I always feel like he’s doing it from a place of trying to help market and grow the game

Royce Pietila (2007) committed to Lake Superior State a number of months ago. No guarantee he's the last either, the Pietila family seems to stay around Howell/Hartland/Brighton Michigan and play hockey.

The guy is f*cking embarassing with his east coast bias and lack of any hockey knowledge.  It's like ESPN had their worst announcers draw straws to see who got stuck with college hockey and he won.  Sucks that ESPN has anything to do with the Frozen Four.

Agree. His PxP is very average at best (he’s admittedly gotten better with less corny phrases and letting the game speak for itself) but he’s a HUGE ambassador for college hockey. He negotiated a certain percentage of hockey (college or NHL) into ESPN contract. Yes, he favors HE but they are also on ESPN+ but I think he’s done a really nice job of increasing exposure to hockey. He will be missed when he retires if someone doesn’t take the reigns from him.

I wonder if UND has any commitments in the near future. It seems like CHL recruiting has picked up a ton and UND has a forward spot open. Anyone have any ideas on who they are after? I believe most players report back to Grand Forks in July so I would expect another commit within a week or two.
