7>4 Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Can someone explain the difference between boarding and checking from behind. I think checking from behind is a major but don't know what the technical differences are between the two calls. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I said that Foyt should have played over Marvin yesterday to add a spark to the team. I think he has played pretty well today. He is a little rusty when trying to do too much offensively, but what do you expect from someone who plays so few games and is a defenseman. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Woog and Mazzocco did their homework, they might talk a little bit about this, but they are too worried about our lack of shots, our undisciplined penalties, our big d-men, our "pathetic offense" as Woog as called it twice this weekend. CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 the puck drops to start the 3rd period here we go Sioux, a strong 20 mins Quote
Smoggy Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 If Woog and Mazzocco did their homework, they might talk a little bit about this, but they are too worried about our lack of shots, our undisciplined penalties, our big d-men, our "pathetic offense" as Woog as called it twice this weekend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They are obsessed with the shots, especially on the PP. And then MaCrapo keeps bringing up how we have so few shots. Guess what buddy, the score is tied and we've had maybe two and half PP (the others were very short) and you've had 7 along with two 5 on 3s. The WCHA should get the Wisco play by play guy in and a neutral color man. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 penalty on Schneider holding gophers go on the pp, early in the 3rd Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 sioux kill off the penalty to Schneider Quote
SiouxFanForever Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Wooger just hates ND bec he sucks for lack of wasting anymore time of this dirtbag. He made MN hockey MN hockey, but now their two best players are ND boys...what does that say for him. Yea that prob bring pride to the team, but pride really doesnt' do much when you are going into the NCAA's. Quote

CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Its fun to hear Brandt cheering the team on and encouraging individual players Quote
SiouxFanForever Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Just by this game....MN loses in the 1st round of NCAA's, and UND is definately a team to fear. I don't think DU would want to face us again and, even 3 men down, MN can barely compete with us. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Briggs makes a big save on Zajac streaking down the side of the ice Quote

He is the up and coming! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He is overlooked because he hasn't played in a while. He has only had a couple shifts in this game, great to see him get on the scoring sheet. Quote
