I'm taking the minutes played last night as a grain of salt.  I saw this as more of:  They know they were going to win, lets have the 2nd unit out there to close the game and rest the starters. 

And they did exactly that.

levias has a little dennis scott game....not the most athletic but gets it done...(obviously has a long way to be a shooter like him)...but reminds me a lot of dennis scott

I would think you would always want to redshirt non-schollies. They could eventually earn a scholarship. There best years aren’t going to be year 1 out of high school.

I don’t know if it’s worth it. As long as AJ is on the floor, he should probably be guarding him.
