See, I could swear the UND Champions Club was promoting a Watch Party at The Pourhouse earlier in the week. And I'm positive that I saw and shared a post about it on Facebook. But then this morning, my post was nowhere to be found and I can't find any information about it. No one seems to know anything about it. I called The Pourhouse and whoever I spoke with didn't know anything about it. He said they had some DJ playing there tonight. So, I'm slightly confused. I'll probably end up heading to Sensors in Bloomington.

Are you bringing Kevin with you?

Hoogsteen-phooey!

Number one super guy!

I got an email about it from the Alumni Association. But I called Sensors and they are planning to have on the games there and assured me it will be alot of fun!

That's ok. I have never failed to get the Sioux game on whichever pub I'm at. They get ESPNU at the nursing home here but if I get caught drinking Jameson's again, I don't get to go to exercise where we sit in a circle and kick an over size ball around to the old ladies. One of them doesn't wear any depends and the only other guy at exercise always gets excited and passes out when he looks up her dress. It's great fun so I thought I should drink somewhere else. Oh well, Go Sioux. Tell the boys to forget the burn the ships crap. I'll burn my wheelchair and see you all in Boston!

I live in Phoenix too and I know RT O'Sullivans in Mesa had a Frozen Four viewing party a few years ago and was quoted as a "Sioux Bar" but not sure if people still gather there.  Where do you plan on watching the game?

Sullivan's closed a couple of years ago I was told. Some of us are going to try Buffalo Wild Wings at corner of Promenade and Frank Loyd Wright.  Golfing ahead of time but a couple of  others are going to try and get their earlier.  Most Sports Bars will be busy cuz Arizona plays Wisconsin in BB this afternoon but BWW said they would have Sioux game on.  IF Brain K. ever reads these blogs, call your sister in law (CEO of BWW and UND grad) and tell her to have these folks set up a corner for UND fans.  :)

I know there are Sioux fans in Alex (they're everywhere) but never watched a game there. Drive 60 miles east and join us in Waite Park at the Ultimate Sports Bar.

Hey, thanks for the heads up.  Was actually planning on making this a pit stop on my drive up to Alex, until the game got delayed.  For future reference, how was the turnout?

I went to Fat Daddy's in Alex... they had the game on their big projector but there was only one or two other Sioux groups there.

Turnout at Ultimate Sports Bar in Waite Park (St. Cloud basicially): varies from a few couples to a few dozen.

This past weekend the bar was jumping with St. Cloud fans as you can imagine. Most are good natured, Of course they got quiet pretty fast after the first period. I would expect a dozen or more UND fans now that the big prize is up for grabs. Good bar food at the Ultimate and lots of TVs, Our game will be the main big screen I'm sure. The owner Tom is a very nice guy and while a gopher fan he appreciates UND passion.
