sprig Posted January 18, 2004 Author Posted January 18, 2004 Are you serious? Yes, they did, guess getting swept warrants one in some places. Quote
01grad Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Thanks for the link sprig. I think it is just my connection taking forever since I am using a phone line. Quote
schmidtdoggydog Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 No biggie - UND is deep and RH is not a huge loss. If he wins the fight everyone here is saying how cool it was that he kicked someone's a**! Either way, it really means nothing. Quote
choyt3 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 And Tech finishes with a team center ice salute serious? It's no wonder they suck. How does a team that gets so many chances short-handed look so brutal 5x5? Quote
Fedorov Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Hale won't be playing which means Marvin or Palmo in game one. They shouldn't need either of those two in my opinion. Quote

schmidtdoggydog Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 3rd goal changed - Murray from ZP and CG Quote
DamStrait Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 serious? It's no wonder they suck. How does a team that gets so many chances short-handed look so brutal 5x5? Conner is a heck of a player and he got a ton of ice time on the PK. There's a reason why he has 5 shorties. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 They shouldn't need either of those two in my opinion. Perhaps, but without Hale, who will take the slot he vacates? With this weekend's roster that went to Houghton, Marvin would get the slot and play forward and Greene would play D. Maybe I'm missing something. Quote

SioUXfan22 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Good thing we have Bochenski and Parise or we would've gotten owned. How about that "overrated" chant??? Quote
jojordan23 Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 Interesting that Campion told Greene he wouldn't have called the first penalty against him if the same play happened in the third. There is something inherently wrong with that. A penalty is a penalty, no matter when it happens, right? That is not good for the league, to have one of its refs being quoted on the radio saying something like that... Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 The sweep this weekend was very big. Even though MTU is last in the WCHA, it is always good to go on to the road and take four points. It really shuts up some people who keep complaining about our unbalanced home/road schedule (Mazzocco and Woog). Quote

UMDDogz Posted January 18, 2004 Posted January 18, 2004 I'm really surprised that MTU is last. They seem like a really gritty team. Plus they have some scorer's. Now Mankato... It may be because teams going up against Tech know how dangerous they can be, and play accordingly. Conversely, teams going up against the Mavs think they can just sleepwalk through the weekend and come out with 4 points (see MSU v. Denver). Quote
