sprig
GFH article UND will make the three available to the public Sunday at a two-hour special photograph and autograph sessions involving Parise, Murray and Stafford at Engelstad Arena. The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m. in the arena lobby. The three will wear their Team USA jerseys. The event is free and autograph cards will be provided. farce poobah
Spreaking of the Golden Boys, Stuart and Sterling skated around the rink at CC tonight with the Golden Cup, the team trophy. After a lap, they presented it to Doug Palazzari of USA Hockey. Way cool.
redwing77
As for smiling, I think Murray got the message and now Zach and Drew lost it
dagies
I watched the last half of the 3rd period at Senser's last night and was VERY impressed with Parise/Murray/Stafford. Wow, they created a couple of awesome scoring opportunities. Hard to describe the plays but they were plays only the highly skilled and talented players could create. They will be special if left together I believe.
SiouxFanInBoston
PCM, were you the one who arranged to have the Gold Medal game video tribute played at the Ralph before the game? That was great -- I wonder if the guys had seen it before. It was also nice to see the guys skate on the ice with their gold medals after the video was over. You couldn't tell on Dataflix how loud the applause was, but I'm sure the guys were touched.
PCM
PCM, were you the one who arranged to have the Gold Medal game video tribute played at the Ralph before the game? I wish I could say yes, but I had nothing to do with it. It was cool to see the guys out on the ice with their medals. Too bad there weren't more fans at the game to appreciate it. Murray said after the game that the gold medal line ran out of gas in the third period, which isn't surprising. He said they'd be fresh tonight. On paper, the Money Line is the first line and the Gold Medal Line is the second line. Darn the bad luck of having two lines that could be the first line on any team in the nation. The Sicatoka
Darn the bad luck of having two lines that could be the first line on any team in the nation. Too bad I couldn't get some of that "bad luck" action on that big PowerBall jackpot a couple weeks back.
PCM
That's just the way it goes. (I'm trying to catch up to CRR.)
redwing77
You know, I could just do some lame one word posts like I've seen lately on USCHO.com and then I could catch up to you all

redwing77
Honestly, Murray scored twice, true, but I thought Parise had a really good game. His stick handling and forecheck/backchecking skills are, to borrow a phrase, "Goose bumpy good." He made some moves towards the end of the game that the people around us hyperventilating it would seem.
champs*7
In honor of the triumphant return of the Golden Boys, I have made another wallpaper. It can be found here.
schmidtdoggydog
That's just the way it goes. (I'm trying to catch up to CRR.) I am disappointed, PCM. You had a two year and two month jump on him and he still blew right by you!!! I think he lapped me within his first 30 days.

SiouxMeNow
guess we know from the photo who carefully wrapped up their medal and who just crammed it into their suitcase:-)
YaneA
I went to the meet and greet with the Golden Boys yesterday. I got there right at 1 p.m. and the line to see the boys had already doubled back on itself. It took me about two hours to get to the table where they were sitting. I was amazed to find them still courteous, accommodating and in good humor after signing autographs and posing for pictures all that time. That's a testament to their parents, their coaches and themselves. When I left the arena, there was still a very long line of people waiting for their chance at them, even though the session was supposed to end then and there. PCM
It was nice to see YaneA at the signing event. The doors to Engelstad Arena were going to be locked at 3 p.m. when the event was scheduled to end, but Zach, Brady and Drew asked that they be left open so nobody was turned away. They signed autographs and posed for pictures until the very last person left, which was after 4 p.m. It was great to see so many people turn out for the event. I should have bought stock in the company that makes Sharpie pens.
jk
Did there happen to be a lot of pretty college girls left in line when the boys asked to stay?
forecheck
Did there happen to be a lot of pretty college girls left in line when the boys asked to stay? Nope. After skating in the Olympic rink I dropped by the main lobby to see how many people were there, and decided no way in hell am I waiting that long. PCM
Self-promotion time. My feature article on Zach, Brady and Drew has been posted at US College Hockey Online. Here are some pictures from the article.
redwing77
Maybe this is out of line, but I think it would be really cool if they did some sort of pregame thing when we face UW. Having UW's WJC players and coach out on the ice with UND's 3. Very nice. Probably won't happen, but it would have been cool.
