Let'sGoHawks!
nope, western illinois. I however continue to be amazed by the pettiness around here. I mean, people do know that the only schools referred to by the city they are in are the schools that are named after the city they are in, right? I was unaware of that, and am confused by it bigtime.
bincitysioux
33 North Dakota 37 KC Half Pretty sloppy. Lots of turnovers and lots of missed free throws.

I mean, people do know that the only schools referred to by the city they are in are the schools that are named after the city they are in, right? We are aware. But I think it is highly unfair that the schools from the bigger cities recieve preferential treatment from the Summit. The school from Fargo should benefit equally from this ingenious marketing strategy..................

bincitysioux
KC shooting well, and really just kind of out-hustling the Sioux from what I can see............................... They are hitting tough shots, and getting easy ones as well.

Let'sGoHawks!
Why can't they hit free throws?
UND1983
How does your point guard go 0-6 from the free throw line. Pathetic. Especially when two of them were to tie it with 26 secs left. 70-67 and AA at line for two Anderson makes 1 of 2. Down two with 16 secs left
UND1983
...and UND gives up the offensive rebound after a missed FT.
UND1983
Down 1 with 6 secs left...TO. Need to foul and then REBOUND if they miss.
UND1983
UND loses 73-70. Absolutely unacceptable, I thought these guys were past this crap but they appear to be the same old team as before.

UND1983
14-30 from the line tonight. Numbers matched by your average junior high team. It appears they cannot shoot free throws at home. On the road they are fine. This is getting so old, when are they ever going to turn the corner?
UNDsportsFANATIC
I still think we should stay optimistic. Truth of the matter is, we don't have our key player. I think we will be fine a couple weeks down the road. 4-5 games down the road
Oxbow6
14-30 from the line tonight. Numbers matched by your average junior high team. That's flat out pathetic.
bincitysioux
Sioux shot 50% from the field, and were 6-16 from 3. They only turned the ball over 10 times. 14-30 from the FT line and out-rebounded 41-28. Obviously the FT's were atrocious, but as far as I am concerned the rebounding margin in this game was just as big a factor to this loss. We are much bigger than KC, and have pretty much outrebounded everybody else all season. KC was also pathetic at the charity stripe tonight and turned the ball over more, but they just flat out worked harder and hustled more. How do you give up that offensive rebound on the KC freethrow with 17 seconds left? Very frustrating game. I hate to single guys out, and especially tonight when everybody struggled at the FT line. Webb is a huge asset and key piece to this team, but this is two consecutive games where his FT shooting has for all intensive purposes cost the team the game.
