dagies
I remember last year Blais said before the season we would be pretty strong down the center which had been a weakness the year before. Looks like Genoway is a little late but coming in. He could be a big factor in this team if he continues to play at this level.

After a disappointing year last year, he looks to be finding his stride.
Goon
How about fact that Blais told him have a bad junior year and there wouldn't be a senior year.
Sioux,CO
I wonder if Massen will have a Senior year? The production of early last year seems like the distant past.
dagies
Did you miss where DB said Massen has been injured and that has limited his playing time? A nasty groin injury (that's what I heard he had, fairly reliably) is hard on a hockey player. I wouldn't read too much into his stats right now. We've seen him be a heck of a player in the last couple of years and expect we'll see that once he gets his feet underneath him.
PCM
The interesting thing about Colby Genoway is that last season, Sioux players kept telling me about how good he was -- in practice. It seemed that the players and coaches knew he had real talent, but now we're starting to see it where it counts the most.

jojordan23
Can you say Lee Goren? As in Frozen Four MVP next year?
PCM
Can you say Lee Goren? With apologies to Woody Allen: I can say it. I don't know what it means, but I can say it.
Superman0099
Good article. I'm glad to see Colby playing well now. He worked hard and it shows, and the players like him who keep improving are going to make this team what it is, and bring it alot of success. sioux fan in phoenix
Nice sticktoitiveness. This is one of the reasons I enjoy college hockey so much--watching players mature physically, mentally, emotionally. Great job, Colby... redwing77
With apologies to Woody Allen: I can say it. I don't know what it means, but I can say it. You quoting Woody Allen makes me concerned for your daughter... oh, wait. That was his step daughter, wasn't it?
redwing77
Anyways, as for Genoway, take away the points and just look how he plays. Between last year and this year he is two different players entirely. Almost like Fylling. Both are playing out of their minds
