Risky Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 A person would assume there is more to this story. Curious to know what it is. Quote
Dagger Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Roebuck has never been afraid to play anyone anywhere. I wonder what the deal is? Quote
gfhockey Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 Yeh no kidding. A home game vsa team that was in the sweet 16 who blew us out last year. Think they would want some revenge on the home floor. Not many schools i can think of who would cancel this game Quote
the green team Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I believe the basketball staffs are in charge of setting up their schedules. Such as going out and finding oppenents, deciding home & homes, 2 for 1's etc.. I think the question would better posed to them. Quote
darell1976 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 The game was to be on Nov 13th...UND hosts Creighton on Nov 11 and hosts Idaho on Nov 14th...maybe 3 games in 4 days was too much. Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 If it is too much, then let the team know in advance... Quote
Dagger Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Johnboy is sure concerned about UND. Did anybody ask for his advice? Quote
mingis Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 from what I understand - there was never a signed contract - and UWGB released their schedule with us on it anyway. . . .a game was talked about, but never contractually set-up - and nothing inked - not UND's fault on this one Quote
supersioux Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 but I'm guessing we lost the game, I'm sure UWGB won't return the game now. Quote
the green team Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Frankly, I'm tired of getting our brains beaten in by them through the transition. How many times did we play them 3 or 4- I don't think we ever were as close as 25. Let's continue to find challenging opponents- i can support that, but let's find new fresh opponents that will beat us by 25 to 40 points. Quote
