MoreSiouxForYou Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I came on here to make it more interesting and now they got scored on again. Wrong kind of interesting. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 this is getting to be not even remotely funny...I hope Stepan is ok. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 So maybe the WCHA was actually overrated this year? Eastern schools have just been dominating. or we could just go with the easy excuse of "WCHA teams play in a very hard conference and so come National Tournament, we're banged up and tired." Quote
xI Hammer Ix Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I think it's due to these East schools being so small and fast, WCHA teams are huge and slow in comparison to them. BC woudln't last in the WCHA, it would wear them down too much, but in a 1 game scenario they hold the advantage. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 BC has scored all of their goals off the rush, and they're really keeping UW at bay defensively. They look like the much better team, sadly. Quote

I think Wisconsin just didn't show up. Much like at the Final Five losing to SCSU. Quote
choyt3 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 I think Wisconsin just didn't show up. Much like at the Final Five losing to SCSU. Exactly. Sure haven't heard a lot about Geoffrion tonight. Quote
ticklethetwine Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Oh well at least badger fans can't give us crap for losing to BC lately. Quote
ticklethetwine Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 4:56 left BC 4-0 Wisconsin empty net. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 All I gotta say this years National Tournament was just lame. A lot of the games weren't even competitive. The Frozen Four games were not even close to being competitive. Yikes. Quote
ticklethetwine Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Hats off to BC boy they sure know when to turn it on. Jerry York sure looks like a genius when it comes tournament time. BC has just been on a roll the last 6 or so years and just think they never even made the tourney last year. Quote

ticklethetwine Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Plus the games were in a damn dome. Also lame. It almost appeared as though it was an outdoor game by the looks of the ice. Quote
HKNTSMN Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Plus the games were in a damn dome. Also lame. Badgers embarass our league.. NO GOALS IN THE FINAL GAME FOR MARBLES NO REAL GOOD CHANCES. Quote
tho0505 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 It almost appeared as though it was an outdoor game by the looks of the ice. That ice was horrible. What a terrible idea by the NCAA. Quote
larsensa Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 That ice was horrible. What a terrible idea by the NCAA. Except for the fact they had the most people in history watching an indoor hockey game. That goes for any league. That is pretty cool. 37,000 in attendance. Looked terrible on TV when they panned back to show the way the field was set up. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Well luckily the Frozen Four is in St. Paul next season...would be a good year for the Sioux to make it that far... Quote

siouxforeverbaby Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Because the Frozen Four is in St. Paul next year does that mean it won't host a regional? nope, the regionals are elsewhere....Midwest - Green Bay, Wisc and Mich. Tech hosts, West - St. Louis and the CCHA hosts, Northeast - Manchester, NH and UNH hosts, and East - Bridgeport, Conn. and Yale and Fairfield host. Quote

It sure would be nice to get a regional back in GF. Quote
