GeauxSioux Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 A few interesting scores from the Big 10... After just squeaking by UNI last week, Iowa pummels Iowa State 35-3. Michigan State loses to Central Michigan 29-27. Central Michigan scored a touchdown and tried for the lead with three and half minutes left, but missed the two point conversion. They kicked a field goal with 0:03 left to win. Wisconsin wins over Fresno in OT 34-31. Quote

Hambone Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Houston is taking it to #5 Oklahoma State 24-7 at the half. I only mention this since next weeks opponent, NW St, lost to Houston 55-7 last week and it looks like Houston may be the real deal. Quote

UND92,96 Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Yotes losing 45-7 in the second half to UNI. UNI is very good, and maybe USD's offense isn't as strong as it was supposed to have been. Their defense seems to be a problem nearly every year. Quote

jimdahl Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 When looking at the GWFC scoreboard on ESPN just now, I see TTU's Potts atop the weekly leaders (at this point in time). Current stats, 11:02 4th qtr: 34/55 421yds 6TDs Rice vs Texas Tech What I was really looking for was GWFC updates -- Cal Poly is about to put away Sacramento St, 38-19, with 9 secs remaining in the game.
