AZSIOUX Posted February 15, 2009 Author Posted February 15, 2009 per brad One switch from Friday night in the lineup. David Toews in for Brett Hextall (lower body injury) on the top line. Will update later. MSU only has two minor changes: Justin Jokinen in for Tyler Thompson on the fourth line and Baylor Dieter in for Nick Canzanello on the third defensive pair. redwing77 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 An interesting substitution for sure. I just don't know why though. Is it because Hak is under pressure from the DU friendly league front office to "stow the goon?" I think this works in favor of two conspiracies: 1. Benefits the Mavs because they won't have an instigator getting them in trouble on the ice. 2. Benefits the Sioux indirectly because, if a fight does start, it won't be because of our "goon." And, no, I don't believe Hextall is a goon. Just two wild hare ideas that are probably both WAY OFF. Quote

What is wrong with being a goon isn't bad in my opinion. Quote
MissSioux85 Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Hextall is injured. I don't know details. Quote

brianvf Posted February 15, 2009 Posted February 15, 2009 Is it because Hak is under pressure from the DU friendly league front office to "stow the goon?" Hakstol was under such pressure from the league office that he had Finley purposely injure Hextall with a slapper to take the goon out. Quote
