OETKB Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 UND has a 38-17 faceoff-won advatage so far, but is being outshot 22-16. Something is very wrong with that stat. Quote

Tsiouxnami Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 This game is downright painful to watch! Can't really sugar coat it, we just look bad. Yikes! Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 This game is downright painful to watch! Can't really sugar coat it, we just look bad. Yikes! It's October 10, the boys are 1500 miles from home, and they have practiced together for about all of one week. And it's BU. Not exactly a pushover. We will be fine, and will probably make this game close as well. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 The Upperclassman should be trying to help the Rookie goalie not deflecting pucks past him. Quote

I am not saying that the season is lost, just saying it is a tough game to watch, in my opinion. Quote
yzerman19 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 BU hasn't practiced much either, and they look A LOT better. This is 3 terrible team performances in a row. We won the Wisconsin game only because of the play of TJ Oshie, Ryan Duncan and Andrew Kozek. The good thing with us being bad is that more of my weekends just freed up Please noone lecture me on fanhood, I am being dramatic, but we do not look like a good team this game. Quote

Why are we being appologetic, or even defensive, for our "elite" team looking like crap tonight? BU looks like a better skilled, better coached team. Plain and simple. We should be emarassed by this game, and questioning what is wrong. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I have to say, I am impressed with the BU announcers. They could be crucifying the Sioux and they are not. They actually are being quite complimentary. Quote
yzerman19 Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Can you imagine Wooger and Mansucko in a 5-1 route at Mariucci? It gives me chills Quote

OETKB Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I feel like I wasted $8, and a few hours of my life, tonight. Quote
OETKB Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 What's the deal? Why not start Walski? I don't get it? I was thinking that myself. But, I guess the freshman looked good in practice. However, he did not look very good in tonight's game. Quote

LeftyZL Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Walski....? You don't pull the goalie when he's not getting any help in front of him. Quote
Tsiouxnami Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Well, let's hope they get a good night's rest and come out flying tomorrow night. Hopefully, this lights a fire under their behinds and they come out looking for some redemption. Until tomorrow - Let's go, SIOUX!!!!!! Quote
