fightingsioux4life Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Well, I have the webcast up and running and it works really great! Link to the web site: http://www.bigskytv.org/index.php?option=c...ge&Itemid=1 Prediction: UND 31, ISU 21 GO SIOUX!!! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 my webcast is frozen watching a water bottle. Did you have to click anything special to get it to work? Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 my webcast is frozen watching a water bottle. Did you have to click anything special to get it to work? It isn't frozen. Look in the background, there are people walking and throwing footballs around. The volume is non-existent, but I'm listening to 96.1 FM anyway. Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted September 18, 2008 Author Posted September 18, 2008 Kickoff is 7:35 CDT, right? Correct. The time listed on the web site is Mountain Time. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I hope this webcast will be watchable, in other words, it doesn't freeze up all the time due to all of us UND fans watching! Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 That current video of the turf is what ISU is going to be seeing all night long! Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Whatever set up NBC had for the olympics video streaming, that's what we need. That picture quality was amazing. And of all the times I logged in to view, I don't think the picture hiccuped a single time. Quote
SiouxDini Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I like the white pants this year for the road uniforms. Quote
gfhockey Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 is it really shaky or jsut me??? nice talk abotu the nickname Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 That stadium looks pretty damn old, I read somewhere that it was the first indoor football stadium on a campus? I'm too lazy to look it up now. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I just turned on the video webcast, and the audio seems to be cutting quite a bit. I'm not holding out much hope for this broadcast. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 That stadium looks pretty damn old, I read somewhere that it was the first indoor football stadium on a campus? I'm too lazy to look it up now. The nation's first domed stadium on a collegiate campus, and the second indoor football stadium in the world (only after the Houston Astrodome). Seats 12,000 for football. Built in 1970 for $2.8 million. Quote
gfhockey Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 fun to hear them guys talk during a commerical haha Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 fun to hear them guys talk during a commerical haha I always enjoy that. It happens every week during the Sioux broadcast. Quote
sprig Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Mine just froze up also; the web site said they had way more logons last week than anticipated and the webcast had problems; it also said they'd fixed it for this week. I don't think they had any idea how many Sioux fans would try to watch, however. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 My video is working, but it looks awful at anything other than the default size. Plus it's pretty choppy. I didn't think it could be worse than the sioux hockey broadcasts of the past, but I'm pretty sure this one takes the cake. Quote
gfhockey Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 mines not froze just no audio lol oh well Quote
SiouxMD Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 The crowd looks sparse considering the game starts in 20 minutes... GO SIOUX Quote
