D line isn’t getting pressure like the last game, their o line is better than last week

Nebraska played deep coverage the whole game knowing we cant throw it deep. Between that and their D line pressure the took away and deep throws and gave us the short passes. What QB on our roster is going to overcome that with our young Oline? Which QB was the best to play based on what the defense was giving us? Tommy played well for what we were trying and able to do well.

Tommy averaged 5.45 yards per play because UND was throwing quick high percentage passes. Think of it like running the ball and averaging 5.45 yards per run. We did that short passing because we could not protect Tommy long enough to throw further down the field. That short passing game though did move the ball and ate up a ton of clock, and kept UND in the game for 3 quarters. I would not say it wasn’t working. As our OL get better I’m sure we will be able to throw it down field more.

UNI scares me with two positions: D line and WR lets hope we can overcome their strengths and come up with a big win at home

Don’t forget Bowling Green, San Jose St, Fresno St…… throughout the Mussman and Bubba eras!

People forget that good teams adjust. Utah St and Nebraska did it on offense and defense. I wish UND could do the same.

How do we get one ? It’s not like the staff hasn’t been trying. They see the need. Do recruits not want to play for these coaches?

Their football only focus has also been a hindrance in moving to the next level. They built their new indoor practice field for football only instead of a multi purpose center. Why? Because all their donors care about is football.

I don’t think he is arguing that their success hasn’t brought in better recruits. It hasn’t increased their enrollment or helped them get anymore FBS games. They have positioned themselves for FBS and there is no doubt about that. It will happen eventually and we can’t get left behind again.

That’s not a realistic response. He is no longer an option. We cant go back in the future and fix it. Who now today should UND replace Bubba with? Name someone realistic!

Can’t believe people are now hoping we can go back to the mussman era! We were behind the elite programs in funding then the same as we are now!

Where are those mussman type recruits going now instead of UND? How many actually stayed at UND once they showed they were good. Who is beating us out?

Open up that checkbook of yours! NIL, fund HPC2 , something, literally don’t know how we can recruit better players with our resources. You are right we can only scheme to a certain point. How are we getting that talent to UND?

Get that checkbook out and find us some elite WR talent or quit your complaining. Need to get good WRs here and your complaining ain’t doing nothing!

How did he let everything he built slip away by letting NDSU surpass us by moving D1? How did we let Lennon go? Who was on Lennons coaching staff?

You willing to donate money? Get out your checkbook. We could use HPC2! You are not going to have an elite football program with average spending/ support.

How are we going to recruit better receivers? Where we going to find them and who are we going to beat out for them?

If Bubba can’t get it done than who can? Name a coach please. The new coach would have the same resources and compensation as they have now. How are we going to recruit better players with the same resources. We have to scheme our way through games to make up for the elite talent that we can’t recruit. Like Kelly Howe says when is the last time we passed the eye test looking at the other team in warm ups. Our schemes are the only thing that is evening out our games. Bringing in a different coaching staff will have to deal with this the same. We do pretty well for a team full of “D2” talent.

When a defensive line dominates the line of scrimmage like UND did and the O line is only called for one holding you know there is something wrong with that. Not going to get the calls in your favor in a big 10 game
