Any cost per point predictions in game #1?
-
Is this on 5dimes? (Cost per Victory) Of course not, this is just some made up sh-t that we are all dumber for reading.
-
Cost is only measured per Victory?? So dumb......

We have to wait until week #2 for a big game......That sucks!! I don't know if I can wait that long. I might not watch any football this year now with that humongous 7 day wait from week #1 to #2. I don't think it's even possible for most fans to wait that long, so sad. Let's fire the staff for the absurd wait until week #2, until that big game. We've talked about our insufficient offense and dozens of other things more than the last SU game...... Conclusion - Save the amateur hour posts and analysis and try to follow along while the big boys post!!
-
At SU the QB runs the ball a lot in big situations whether it's a 3rd and manageable, a big 4th down, near the end of the game for a key 1st down, or in the red zone. That's desirable, too I'm sure. That stresses the QB is the most important position on their team. Concerning UND......we certainly didn't make Keaton the most important player on the team. We could have by running an offense that featured his ability to make plays rolling out, but we didn't. In fact, our offense wasn't suited to his best skill set at all. This is on us and we have to prove we've changed. UND will have to show a little patience and let the Fruend Offense speak for itself, and land a QB that's blowing up his senior year. I feel good about it, but recruits want/need to see it happen on the field after 1990 called with a crappy college offense and we went with it for the past 5 years.

We couldn't find a decent CB anywhere!! Being a former CB I used to tell people I was on the cheer team because I was too embarrassed to admit playing CB, that's how bad it was.
-
Think synchronized swimming, but without water, and no nose plugs nor sparkling water leotards, but with 290 lb guys on their feet, with pads, and no crappy music either, and 1000x less gay. Zone blocking can be just as pretty though when executed correctly. So the 2 are pretty much the same thing besides some of the minor things I pointed out.
-
I laughed hard!! Good work UND360!! I thought we'd see Smoke'n Joe on Sundays.......but then again no team has ran 35 fullback dives/per game in the past 70 years in the NFL. “It stung for sure, I was hurt,” Protheroe said of going undrafted and unsigned after the 2019 NFL Draft.
-
Pretty tough to snap the ball every 10-15 seconds going 315 lbs. across the O-line. I think this is a tempo indicator!!
-
-
When 1st down gets 7-8 yards I like it when teams hit the tempo button and slam a quick play or two for a 1st down. If an OC continues to like his personnel match up no need to slow things down.
-
I am sure we'll have a few quick 3 and outs but the good teams/offenses don't have many. With Mussman, we also had the slowest linebackers and cornerbacks/safeties since the 60's. We went to battle with some terrible football players.
-
I agree this could be our best team under Bubba. Instead of opposing defenses calling out our plays our QB, Kett, will now be making calls and decisions to expose weaknesses in the defense. This instantly makes the team better in measurable ways, but also mentally. We need to build the offense and confidence throughout the year, not drive it into the ground to lay an epic egg in the last game of the year.
-
And to be fair for it's been a few bad apples per year but 20+ good kids!!

A little history on Drake vrs "like kind' opponents. 2015- UND 21/Drake 18 Yotes 52/Drake 0 2016- Jacks 56/Drake 28 2017- Yotes 77/Drake 7 Jacks 51/Drake 10 2018- Griz 48/Drake 16 Iowa St 27/Drake 24 (this game was a torrential down pour and mud fest, FYI) Average of 5 games in bold 56.8 points vrs Drake 12.2 47.42 vrs 14.71 considering a Rudy offense and a mud bowl. 2019 - If we don't score in the 40's I'll be a little worried.
-
I like the analysis, fresh thought. Does it mean anything......perhaps a little in that we seem a little snake bitten regardless of it's the 1st commit, last commit, JUCO, or latest FBS dud. We've had tribal sweat tents, drug dealers, Canadian snow flakes, JUCO guys not even arriving in GF, depression, jonny jumpers, adderall, broken hearts missing girl friends, elevated number of injuries, pot smokers(pot more important than FB), etc. We need to catch a frickin break and have that knock out recruiting class!!
-
Dalton Gee, right, didn't see him on the roster. I just refreshed my hudl memory of him. He needs to take a jump to play at this level. I hope he can!!
-
The RB situation isn't good after this year. The 3 guys listed at RB are all Seniors. Gordon/JJ/Teddy. Mckinney/Griebel(listed as WRs) and Skokna(incoming true Fresh) need some work this year for sure at RB and between these 3, none are going to provide a blitz pick-up. Too bad London was such a loser coming from the Gophers. He could of helped if not such a d-bag.
-
That too at outside backer. We have historically dropped a safety down to OLB, like with Palmborg. I thought I heard MVJ, listed at 6'3" and 200 lbs. but our roster weights have as much credibility as the Mueller Report(today's clown show).
-
We are pretty deep at LB. Verde got another year and Haas is back and those 2 aren't even starting. Although Haas could make that leap to starter. Cam is solid, too, behind Noah and Donnell at inside. That's a solid 7 players with Jade and Jaxon. We have a few others that should emerge but going into camp a very solid 7 of 8 for a 2 deep.
-
I've only been wrong 1.5 times in 5 years......I don't want to relive those moments.
-
That's the old way of looking at things and assumes the offense is based on complexity, checks at the line, multiple blocking schemes, and a schematic philosophy(must pound the rock), etc. If our QB can count to either 6,7, or 8 (players in the box) we will take the best match-up that play. Kett can count to 8, I believe in him!! I think you're dead wrong and we roll from the start. But the tricky part is not showing too much but still pounding Drake in week #1. In week #2, the tricky part is NDSU is really good, so many of the best offenses struggle with them. Week #3 and on no reason we shouldn't be rolling. #my2cents

Your information sucks, then. It was dirty and I don't think anyone disagreed after watching it multiple times. I could say we owe them a snapped leg but even I can't wish that upon any football player.
-
The Clive George injury hurt a lot, too. Another player that could of survived by knowing his limits and role within the team. Clive could gut a team deep or with any open space......leave the tough yards for the RB's. I think Cam was a freak accident. And of course Conner Wentz had his cheap shot of a lifetime on another safety, 3rd game of the year, Zach Arnell. Thanks Conner!!
-
Ott made a fairly sharp cut, but not unreasonable. Palmborg simply tried to do something no knee could withstand.....he jumped 3 feet high and 10 feet long and upon landing thought a 90 degree cut was going to work. I put that one on the player.
