After getting completely destroyed by one player last year, our guys will be highly motivated, better coached, better schemed, more confident......and the Alerus Center. And I think the crowd will be fairly amped up. Recipe for a UND victory but will be a tough game. UND 34-27

We made their QB look like Tebow 2.0 last year. Didn't he run for like 150 yards on us all by himself? He will get some yards and some nice runs on the ground against us tomorrow, we just have to keep it reasonable and make the important 3rd down stops when needed. Offense get out to a quick start and keep the pedal to the metal!

We like to put trick plays that dont work on film....to give defenses something to think about

Well be prepared to be disappointed on the new kicker. If they were going to see what a new kicker could do, they would have tried that in the previous game in a blowout. They aren't going to do it on the road, unless he misses two easy ones to start the game or something. I'm hoping that one game was just a blip and he will be good from here on out. His kicks look solid the last game, I hope that continues.

Definitely agree, this is a winnable game and by most measures we are the better team. If we stumble here, then the 'nothings changed' chants are warranted. Our team has shown up ready to play both of the previous two road games.....I expect the same this weekend, especially coming off a Bye. Lets get off to a fast start on Saturday.

The shade of green we have now is definitely different than 90's but I like it. Was thinking we wore black pants with these green tops one time, or was I dreaming that? These are the best green tops we've had in the DI era IMO.

Our sluggish sloppy start on Saturday was frustrating, but gave the coaches enough ammunition to get after the guys..... and hopefully focus during practice the next two weeks.

I hate when I see UND grads root for anything NDSU. However people that didn't go to either school likely root for UND hockey, and some of those root for SU in football because their success. If we start having real success in football, and we were playing in a Championship game....some of those people who had rooted for SU football......would probably root for UND to win. As a kid growing up in the 80's and living on western side of the state, barely knew UND and UND football existed. I rooted for SU in football due to their success and we had some former HS players on those teams. At that same time if UND had a great year I likely would have pulled for UND in a championship game. Due to internet etc. the world is a lot smaller now so more people probably due only root one way or another even if they didn't go to one of the schools. But I dont think it's too crazy for someone who has zero ties to one of the schools and is a casual fan to root for both if in the playoffs.

While I didi think it was a little odd Simon getting in, I didn't have a problem with him getting some reps in. JTJ has not looked fhat great, and to be honest if Jerry got hurt and we needed a drive in the last two minutes of the game to come back and win...Simon may give us the best shot right now. I agree with it being Jerry, JTJ, Sulik in that order behind Jerry....but if we desperately needed a drive to win the game and Jerry was out....

Is it? It was a wise move by Danny leaving UND under the Bubba mediocrity show. It pissed me off at first when he left, but he made the right choice for his career. I wish Danny success. I maybe get it as for the SD guys, but Im definitely not actively rooting against the former SDSU coaches and players, if it were NDSU then maybe lol.

And in 2023 at UNI we were completely futile, we looked like one of the worse teams in the FCS in that game. Not sure if it's your intent or not to set it up as a comparison, but if we beat UNI 31-7 this year, that is way different than beating them 31-7 at home.

Last years team was down 24-7 at halftime at home against Montana. IMO very little chance last years team comes back and makes it close against Montana if they were on the road. And we really never had a chance to win at Iowa State. We absolutely do need to prove we can win on the road. But going by the eye test I'll take the two losses this year over going 1-1 on those last year. If 2024 UND team played 2025 UND team, I think 2025 wins by 15 at least. Bo was great and still love to have him, but I'd put WR as overall better position than last year as well, in addition to QB and D as you mentioned. We finally have quick strike capability. Running up the middle seems to be not as good this year though Its been a long 10 years of under performing and disappointments, so can understand the pessimistic attitude by a few and say this year is no different. This year does look and feel different than last year to me. If we crap the bed against average or below averages teams again on the road, I'll be proven wrong. Time will tell. I'm choosing to be cautiously optimistic verses pessimistic for this team and staff.

I think I'd probably put Montana fans as #1 !@#!$! fan base. At least NDSU has an entire trophy case to stand behind from the past 10 years, Montana not so much. But yet they act like they are the best FCS program out there and whine and cry more than any other fans. The win last Saturday sucked, but was a double whammy as had to endure Montana fans online celebrating and thinking they are hot sh*t......when UND gave away that game. I'll take our team and coach right now and the trajectory we are on over Montana.
