After losing this past Saturday, If we can hang around in the first half, their fans are going to start getting restless. Kstate fans will be thinking this should be an easy win for them and are going to want to roll us.

Definitely a few surprises on the 2 deep. Also will take a while to get used to the new positions. Dang deng was somewhat quiet on the first part of fall camp, at least in the write ups. Looking forward to seeing what he can do. Definitely a different looking heading into this Saturday than last year....excited to see how they do!

My point was, if its not apparent from fall camp practices who should be the true #1, see who separates from the other in Live action to help make the decision who the #1 is. And others have said, if they have a package for JTJ, NDSU did exactly that on their way to a championship last year as others have stated.

I get the saying.....if you have 2 QB's you don't have 1. Well if neither have separated themselves.....why they hell not see what both can do in live action in that environment and see if one of them separates from the other. I'd rather see what both can do......than that fiasco we had last year when only one guy got in no matter how good or bad it was. Geezes.....the world has not ended here folks.

Exactly. Now if USD got chosen or something that is another thing, but as of right now USD would get chosen over us as we haven't done squat. I think that will be changing soon however. If we surprise Montana at their place that would be huge. We have the SU's at home this year, and we know anything is possibly in the Alerus! If USD ends up living up to their hype, that one will be tough at their place. We have the toughest schedule in the FCS, let's go make some noise!

Zbarth and Seidl will the like thunder and lightning this year. Im guessing Zbarth gets the start. However, part of me thinks might not be bad to have Seidl start and then Z come in on 2nd or 3rd series and pound. Kinda like how Santiago would start and then Brady would come in. Zbarth is the senior though and Im sure will start, and has earned it. Either way.....nice 1-2 punch those guys. The nice thing about Seidl, he could take it to the house on any play. Thoughts?

I haven't gone back and looked at Jerry’s hudl or anything recently, but for some reason everyone thinks he isn't mobile and can't run. He has got to be one of the fastest guys on the team watching him run down the sidelines last year alongside Smith Now I know speed doesn't always equate to a good or great runner. But I'm not sold on the thought that Jerry can't run and scramble when he needs to. Him on a fake hand off and doing a QB keeper around the end....with his speed....sounds pretty good to me. We just haven't gotten to see him enough to know. Im a couple days behind on Tom's write ups...so maybe im missing something recently in there. I picked Jerry in the poll since JTJ struggled in spring camp and is still picking up the offense. Jerry was pretty highly thought of when we brought him in here, I just think he needs a chance. Im saying 0 percent chance Simon starts. Another guy needs a shot, Simon was about at his ceiling last year. Glad he is still here though if injuries pile up, he can still go in and manage a game and make some plays and has experience.
