You just stole my thunder, I was just going to say.....things are generally never as good.....or as bad as people think. We fell off a cliff for the day last Saturday, but I don't think the team completely fell off the cliff for the year and we all of the sudden reverted to a team who can't muster more than 10 points against MSU and is about to get run over by them at home. We certainly have some issues right now with injuries and some things to fix, that is for sure. But we still have some talent on the offensive side of the ball. I expect the guys to come out pretty fired up and ready to prove something come Saturday.

We will score more than 10, I'll bet my left nut on it.

My hopefully prediction is that Izzy makes a big play. It's now week 4....hopefully that is enough time for Rudy and coaches to figure out how to at least try and give one of your fastest guys on the team a chance to make a play. Hell throw a fly pattern to him on 1st and 10.....I don't even care if you over throw it by 5 yards....just try it!

So University of North Dakota does not have any type of dedicated sports show? I can't even find anything that seems that relevant when searching Midco, but maybe I'm missing it. So 27 years ago when we were DII and hadn't even made the playoffs UND had a 30 minute show dedicated to football. Now we are FCS and we have to settle for some commentators from a different state mentioning UND football for a few minutes during the week during their show? This seems ridiculous and a big step backwards.

I did not do a prediction last week as that game scared me going into it. The team will be much more focused this week and be able to overcome the injuries at home, especially if some of those questionable guys play, which it sounds like they will. UND wins 27-24

The Winnipeg, Manitoba native is averaging 9.9 ypc and has two of his six career 100-yard rushing games against the Bobcats. As a freshman, Oliveira rushed for a career-high 171 yards in a 44-38 win over MSU and he added 167 yards and a 60-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown in last year’s 17-15 win in Bozeman.

IF we win out....we could probably get back to top 10. But I think a first round bye is basically out of the question at this point even if we win out unless USD is a top 4 seed or something, and even then things would have to play out perfectly for that to happen. It's going to take some time work to get rid of that butt whooping we just got. Right now however I am just taking it game by game....we've got a long ways to go, feels similar to last year after our first two games.

A little trouble yes, unless the younger OL are actually really good and we end up having a better line next year. We will still win games, we aren't as bad as Saturday's game made us look in my opinion but our OL has a ways to go to get to where we want to be if we are going to have a smash mouth offense and try to run it down your throat.

In the Big Sky we will likely be able to run on some of those teams, but we need to have a plan when we are playing a strong front and we cannot run.......but we don't have a plan for that apparently.

While do I have a feeling this was like him in his High School years, he thought he was buds with everybody and part of the group........but really they just wanted him to go away.

I hope they don't, it won't look good for us if they get beat next week. We have to hope they knock of some of the big MVFC teams this year and now have to be USD fans the rest of the regular season.

Streveler threw a pick that was nearly returned for a TD, however UND was off sides so it was a free play. One of the what seems like 10 times we were off sides or false starts.

Exactly, we have Reyes back their fielding punts who we cannot afford have get injured, it's like he was just sent in to make fair catches. Santiago has the capability of taking one to the house, which we were in dire need of a big play today. This game was just a complete failure on all levels today, I bet the water boy was even off today.

Southern Utah throws 3 INT's including a pick 6 and one that was returned to their 15 yard line, but holds NIU to -14 yards rushing (lots of sacks for negative yardage as I watched the second half) and beats NIU 24-21. Since it was a road loss though for NIU and they kept it close, probably warrants moving up a couple spots in the polls.

Izzy sounds like he has the speed, saw him on one jet sweep and we didn't give it to him. Of course....why would you want to give the ball to one of your fastest guys.
