I agree, I don't think he will be let go either.....just made me think about the down side of the early signing day. I'd really like to make the playoffs, but if we make the playoffs I would say there won't be any type of ultimatum about the staff and Rudy will stay, and Bubba will still even have a hard time replacing Kostich……. even though it's obvious it needs to happen.

If Bubba was let go, the early signing date will turn out to be a bad thing for us this year.....we won't have a coach the weeks leading up to it.

Also NAU and Idaho were thought to likely be tough games going into this year. Starting the season I thought 7-4 would make the playoffs, but then our schedule ended up being softer than anticipated. Like the original post said, 7-4 this year doesn't feel good and the season feels like a disappointment. There is still a possibility we make the playoffs, and heck even win a game. But after giving plenty of benefits of the doubt, I no longer feel we have the coaching staff to be more than a 1 playoff win team (Rudy and Kostich) no matter what happens the rest of the way.

Anybody from here going to be at the game?

What board are you reading? I'm thinking 95% of us are not blaming things on injuries this year, and 95% of us think Rudy needs to go, Kostich needs to be removed from special teams. Coaching has been by far the main reason for our underperformance this year.

But yet still a few minutes ago were blaming defense for this pathetic game. Sure we gave up some plays...but fact is I'd take any game the other team only has 10 points at end of 3rd quarter.

with all of the sacks, not sure we even had positive yardage in 3rd quarter.

I asked in post yesterday......would be playing like we were hungover from last week....or come out inspired. It's obvious on the offensive side. Put in Boltmann…..why the hell not!

Those games against UNC and Sac State gave us such false hope that we had a good offense. This is pathetic.

That's the thing.....if we wont this game easily...…..and win next week easily.....I think we have more of a case. But man.....this is not very impressive so far.

I'm kind of glad Puto TV isn't working...I'd be embarrassed for the two NDSU guys I'm with to watch this game, I'm listening on head phones. Unless we start rolling them in second half.....this is not a good showing at all for a team fighting to make the playoffs.
