The crowd last night was decent... more than the AHL game but less than full. A lot of people left as USA piled on more goals.For the opening it was a bit more crowded.

Great group of games at the Ralph yesterday with more on tap today. 1st 2 games were close all the way through with USA finishing strong winning 8-2. Post thoughts on any aspect of the tournament from atmosphere (was terrific yesterday) to games/anything in between.

If Studio one gets a chance to fund-raise why not all cut programs? Caveat being if the threshold isnt met by a certain date all money goes to UND anyways. What do they have to lose?

FWIW were is his Faux outrage at Quinnipiac's antics after their semifinal win over Boston College?

Also for those interested in watching playoff hockey during intermission 2 large projectors with nbcsn were up. It was quite nice. The prime rib and nachos stands are there as well as 10 dollar buffets every night.

Neulion does a decent job imo. I think one thing that should be done is encourage CBSSN to find a streaming partner so those of us on campus can at least pay to watch those games,

Well.. when I came to UND, the first game I saw was the Oct 5 2012 exhibition vs Manitoba. I got lower bowl student seats and saw the shear enormity of the arena.I think what did it was and still is lining up and being able to see these great players most Fridays and Saturdays while meeting and talking to new people.The friends I have as a UND student were mostly met standing in line at the Ralph.I always love standing in line because I can talk about and learn hockey from the most knowledgeable and nicest people. Now i enjoy the simplicity in the chaos that is the Ralph. Before games I will just walk around the lower bowl and get the view from different areas. I go to so many games the concession workers know what I like. I have not met a single person in the Ralph be it fan student or employee that has been mean to me. Since I started to go to UND I have embraced the Ralph and it has reciprocated.I may not know as much history but I am learning and feel like I have become a part of something bigger then myself in just 2 years. A fan of a team with so much history and a legacy of outstanding people, fans, athletes,and students.

Random question, with the fact that the Capitals are currently inviting a new d-man to play like every other day and just had Backstrom get hurt, any chance we see Genoway up there this year? Saw him and Watkins at Hershey.

If you guys do stop in Indy I would love to meet some fellow fans depending on time for possibly lunch (student doing internship in Indy this semester). Is there any deal on hotels or tix/how does this work if we win vs lose, deciding whether or not to go.

The game was a good game. I come from MD and root for Terps basketball and all things MD along with UND. UMDCP basketball has had very few coaches and even some of the best like Gary Williams had bad years. The opposition to him is similar to Hak, and Gary only won one Natty with less talented players.(Got to the tourney a lot). Point is, is both men are coaching greats, and like Gary, Dave should leave on his own terms whenever he wants. We live in the NCAA's thanks to him. He has done a lot for this program and one bad stretch wont change it. Also tonight was a hard fought effort that will hopefully start a rise to the top.

I know, when the Ravens one the Superbowl last year when i was up here it was really cool. I feel a unique sense of pride for my home. I know i dont influence the game and i know you werent picking on me.

It bothers me that the Pack handed us that game but we couldnt run the ball to save our lives. I do like the Pack vs some other teams, Please beat the rest of the AFC North.

The fact that Tate Maris got cut from the Chill while Bryzgalov is coasting in Las Vegas in the ECHL on one good year( he is still getting paid that monstrous contract it jut doesnt count against the cap).

I know the markets are different, but at Camden Yards in Baltimore the Jersey for a 2 /12 year old plus food would well exceed that. It stinks though I will agree with that.

The visiting fans usually sit in the two sections closest to the visiting sideline. Ask to sit in the section closest to the visiting locker room, The students sit in right behind EWU bench
