    Also defend your argument.... body checking is not allowed but every other form of checking is.. its physical.

    I challenge someone to explain why the sport is considered boring and if you use physicality please explain to me how UND minny games are more physical than some mens games and how its ok to cut a sport just cause you dont like it.. some folks in atlantic hockey prefer football yet some of those schools still have hockey

    For what its worth UND- Minn Womens games are more physical then some NHL games ive seen and less gets called. I support this team 1000 percent.

    As discussed. I think Rinks and Tomek will end up sharing the backup job by year's end. FWIW Rinks is better against teams that get lower SOG. that is something Cam needs to work on and it will be interesting to see if Cam gets Dev Camp invite to showcase his skills.

    Well he will still have a strong D Core in front of him. The positive person in me notes how he stole the Duluth series where they outshot us by a ton both nights with said three NHL defenseman.Cam plays better w more shots faced.. as long as the team limits high percentage chances like normal thats fine. I am ok with losing the SOG battle 40-25 if the other team gets very little if any Grade A's.

    And yes, i understand that handedness of wings may play a role but think it is worth playing a winger on their off side if needed.

    Schmaltz could easily play wing then... or center and another hawks prospect could play wing.. did not realize person however since a wing can play center or vice versa its moot .

    ah.. that makes sense.. would argue deployment and ice time issues to.. hawks do have contracts coming off the books and schmaltz could still play wing at the next level
