  1. A couple hot women going at it wouldn't be all bad.
  2. Our effort and compete levels need an overhaul in order to right the ship imo. This is a shell of the team that swept Denver. We played so hard and fast we broke Denver's will. I want that team UND hockey team back. It's in there somewhere I hope it comes back out.
  3. I can remember when I was a kid and Scott Swigman (excuse spelling maybe) did color as Tim Hennessy called the games and I just loved to listen to the games and it has been the same forever for me but I agree that something is missing with this team. Maybe it is the manner in which they lose games. There was almost zero effort against NTDP for an example. I have always thought of the Sioux as a bring your lunch bucket, hard working right to the end team. Other teams might have beat the Sioux but nobody ever outworked or out hustled us. I don't get that feel with this team. The Senden line yes plays Sioux hockey I feel but they cannot carry the team.
  4. No not upset about them out having fun, but I hope come Monday they realize there is a time for fun and there is a time for hard work. I think the thing i saw that upset me most at least Saturday (worked and didn't see Friday game) was the lack of our D picking up the forwards out front of our net and letting them jump on rebounds they should have boxed out on. Very sloppy D coverage in front of our net.
  5. If we keep going like this we will drop out of the top 16 for pair wise and have to win the league tourney to get into the national tournament
  6. We stink right now. Hate to say it but it’s true. I’ve defended this team but they have to put a better product on the ice.
  7. I get tired of always hearing that we always get the other teams best game. The entire team minus Hellsten is now on the milk carton. Hope they are found soon or it's gonna be a long second half.
  8. We didn't play very well but those young whipper snappers were pretty good.
  9. Ok Hope Sanderson isn't getting ready for China.
  10. Probably stupid question but didn't hear Jammer's name or maybe I missed it.
  11. On the bright side of this whole mess at least we won’t have to listen to some of the Canadian announcers blather on about how fantastic the Canadian team is.
  12. Yes I agree about expecting perfection. They though sometimes put the cart before the horse as far as presuming that Canada will win Group A. The Fins are tough and there is no drop off from 1st line to 4th line. The Fins I believe are gonna give the Canadians a run for their money and I would say that they (Fins) may be the most complete team in the tourney and they have really good chemistry and play as a team. Finland could very well win this tourney. If the Canadians get into penalty trouble against the Fins they have shown against the U.S. that they can find find the back of the net on the power play also. Group A imo is up for grabs between the Fins and Canadians.
  13. Listening to the Canadian announcers call the Canada Czech game the announcers are already annointing the Canadians as the gold medal winners. Reminds me of the FSN announcers start talking natty after the Gophers beat up on the Sisters of the Poor a couple weekends in a row.
  14. East Coast bias is particularly harsh when it comes to UND i.e. Matt Frattin.
  15. Cale Makar having played at UMASS was a big plus for him getting the eastern bias votes. Sanderson will not get the eastern bias votes and will get snubbed for the Hobey.
  16. Here is a pretty good preview of Group B. Russian goaltender could be a factor in our group if he is on his game. https://www.nhl.com/news/group-b-preview-for-2022-world-junior-championship/c-329153074
  17. Any chance Kleven gets tapped for the Olympic team? I'd take him over most defensemen behind Sanderson. He also brings a very physical side if he can stay out of the box.
  18. Ok now Jamernik coming in after Christmas makes more sense. Not a bad trade off so far.
  19. Could see Robson becoming another Lawson arena that's a tough rink to play in.
  20. I thought Portz played well in place of Senden. This line is starting to become an offensive force lately as far as on the rush and not just creating chances on the forecheck. Jammers goal Saturday was borderline sick with 5 CC players surrounding him. Hain ripped a laser off the post from top of circle late in the game that cleanly beat Vernon also. I really think if we could groom some younger guys like a Ness, Albrecht and maybe Kunz as a 2nd shutdown line it would let Berry match up the Senden line against the other teams 3 or 4 line as I think they could reak havoc. Just a thought. Couldn't do that against top teams like Denver with Savoie line etc.
