  1. Berry puts them up against the other teams top line every night and most nights they out score that line and when you play in the NCHC those are some of the most talented lines in the country.
  2. Can you give me a better shut down line that can also create offense on a regular basis. On a 200 foot basis I say they are the best. What line is better?
  3. They are tenacious on the puck like a pack of Junk Yard Dogs chasing down an intruder into the yard. They have shut down or nearly shut down every line Berry has put them up against. They play 200 feet every night. I just can't say enough good things about these three.
  4. Couldn't you see them playing that who let the dogs out sound byte every time they score at the Ralph and the students and crowd going nuts.
  5. Does identity line come with a song. Just kidding. Still like my Junk Yard Dogs name better.
  6. Sorry, I just think the Jammer line is the best line in college hockey and they deserve a name.
  7. Sick the "Junk Yard Dogs" (Jammer Line) on their top line.
  8. The Saturday game plan must be our Mantra from here on out if we are to be successful. We are built for that type of game and it has been proven to be a recipe for success for us.
  9. In a perfect world yes I would agree. Looks great on paper.
  10. If I was a soccer coach I would play the whole game with my goalie pulled since there are almost never any shots on goal and my team would spend the whole game with the extra attacker.
  11. Almost all games are closed out like that because the opponent is essentially on a power play when they pull their goalie. According to your logic we should spend all our time on the PK in the opponents zone instead of defending in our own zone. Doesn't make sense. Not trying to offend but think of it as killing a penalty when goalie gets pulled we go down 6 on 5.
  12. Nope looks like call on the ice was correct. Frisch pushes his man into the net just before Kleven gets possession of the puck and shoots it into empty net. Refs hand was going up for delayed penalty before Kleven shot puck down the ice.
  13. That empty netter appeared to happen before the penalty so that should have closed it out. I just saw it in real time so I may go back and have another look.
  14. Western at top of pairwise Without the help of several posts and cross bars we could have hung 8 or 9 on them tonight.
  15. For as inconsistent as we've been we've weathered it fairly well considering. That tells me that the other NCHC teams have had problems with consistency also.
  16. When Savoie cheap shotted Senden at the end of the Saturday game vs DU Jammer took off Savoies helmet with a cross check and jumped on him and was gonna overhaul him as you could see Senden sitting on the ice smiling as he watched Jammer. I knew right there this line needs to be together. They feed off each other and Hain fits in also like a glove with them.
  17. We pulled a Bemidji St on them like Bemidji St does to us to negate our speed.
  18. I was almost ecstatic to see Senden, Hain and Jammer back together. When they are together they are so tough to play against. They remind a lot of our 2016 heavy line. I sure hope Berry keeps them together. I think Schmaltz is better with Caufield.
  19. St Cloud St is good I agree, but if you can clog up the neutral zone on them and get people back it severely limits their bread and butter which is scoring on the fast break (basketball term for a team that likes to run). They are like a basketball team that likes to run but has trouble playing a half court game.
  20. I remember seeing Quiet Riot at the old Winnipeg Arena. You got a contact buzz just walking in the arena.
  21. I remember being at a game where Michigan Tech beat us almost that bad.
  22. Moore has been so IMPRESSIVE lately. He isn't quite as nimble with the puck as Sanderson but lately he has been so good on the rush and moving the puck. How bout trying him quarterbacking the 2nd unit power play? I really love his game
