Wonder if UND looked like they gave up because they were frustrated with the guy they voted to be captain not getting a shot in a game where it was clear Kett wasn't getting it done. Putting Zimmerman in could have really given the team a shot in the arm. Missed opportunity to change momentum in the game. Very narrow minded decision by Bubba.

How does the defense jump off sides that many times in one series, let alone one game. . And how do you not figure out the rush needs to contain the QB? Kett's clock MGMT in the last drive was poor, and he was off the entire game. What would it take for Zimmerman to get a chance to play?

PJ Fleck and Craig Bohl don't seem destined for success. The coach at UC Davis didn't cut it in FBS, but is successful at FCS. Higher level of play means what it takes to be successful requires greater skill as a coach. I would like to see a serious effort at getting Jake Landry to look at the OC position. He has a pretty good resume. And of course get someone else to coach ST

It isn't mathmatically possible for us to get into the top 4 of the BSC. i can't imagine a scenario that gets us into the playoffs.

How about Jake Landry, who is now at NIU? Seems like a good choice for OC.

The part that worries me is that UND didnt have a good game when they needed it, at home, and a big part of that was the defense.

It's not a given that an 8-3 UND gets in over a 7-4 ISU. both would have the same conference record. ISU would have two FBS losses, beats UND on the road, takes UCD to OT, and the loss to Cal is looking good.

Weber, UCD, EWU, and ISU could all be clearly in front of us at the end of the year and I think 5 teams from the Big sky would be a tough sell. We will need to win convincingly these next three weeks.

If we could have been one of the 120 teams that could figure out how to stop the single run play Weber was effective at, we almost certainly win the game. Our guys in the second level didn't play well, and schmitty could have just as well stayed home today. This team has the physical talent, but we have a tendency to get out coached.

EWU, UCD, Weber are all likely playoff teams. The powers that be are going to have to be stategic and only rank ISU or UND highly, not both unless they absolutely have to. 5 teams in the playoffs from the big sky is a hard sell based on performance the past few years.

Dang. Washington and ISU both lose in OT to ranked teams after missing easy field goals to win it.
