We've heard the players love them and that's the important thing. Also, weren't the A&M and Nebraska jerseys alternates? They always seem to go over the top on those. I'm assuming UND will have a much more simple look for their primary jerseys but who knows. Can't wait to see them!

I appreciate the committee for donating their time and effort, but I can't imagine a worse outcome to this point. Not one name satisfies their own criteria for a nickname. Guys, we need a miracle

It seems like the majority of the alumni (myself included) like being "North Dakota" but I think it is because we have been immersed in Fighting Sioux tradition for a significant period of time making it easy to carry it on. Unfortunately, the future alumni 20 years from now will never get that same experience. I'd like to see a resolution where the students make the call when it is time for a new nickname. When they stand up and say it's time, then we begin looking at implementing a new name whether it be Roughriders or whatever. By that time there could be an unofficial replacement that evolved organically that would be supported by students, alumni and fans making it an easy transition. I have stated on here that I thought we needed to just get it done and move on. But the way this process has run it's course has done nothing but divide the fanbase.

I agree, I would like to see Murphy stay in the lineup vs. BU. Hak has some tough decisions to make after the way Panz played last night. He made smart simple plays everytime he got the puck, with the confidence of a regular starter. I like Thompson back there, but you could make a case for inserting a true shut down D-man when playing an offensive team like BU

I think St. Clair deserves a lot of credit for his play this weekend. Not only for his beauty of an ENG and screen on Poolmans goal, but for how disruptive he was for St. Cloud in all 3 zones. He makes a huge difference when he's in the lineup

I wouldnt mind being just UND but I think that it would be a short sighted decision. WE will always identify with the Fighting Sioux but future students, athletes and fans will identify with a new nickname, no matter what it is. When I graduated from GFC, I was a Knight not a Redskin. On a side note, the UND basketball team used to wear jerseys that said "Nodaks" on them. That could be a way to build a new brand off an old tradition. I am not crazy about that idea, but I'm comfortable with it

Now that Simo is out who do we see filling in for Mac? Do we know if Olson fully recovered? We have decent options in Murphy, Sanderson and Panz.

St. Cloud's blacks are sharp. I think our blacks are the best jerseys in the league. I would love to see them with the green lids and breezers.
