  1. Let's put it in perspective: 18 wins 15 losses 6 or 7 toughest schedule in the country... That's good enough for 6th place in the NCHC.
  2. Before AND after they played UND.
  3. I haven't seen anyone say anything, but if Cam pitches a shut out my math says he takes over the lead in GAA along with his current leadership in save %, as Alex Lyon from Yale has the weekend off. Good Luck Cam!
  4. UND made up .0018 of the .0022 rpi with the win last night. I still want to think that no matter what Colgate or Cornell does tonight, a win against Western will give our favorite team the #1 RPI and first place in the PWR.
  5. Ah, that makes sense then. He presumes they beat Michigan but the michigan loss doesnt affect THEIR position
  6. Not sure who put this bracket together. Last time i checked USCHO, CHN and Sioux sport PWR minnesota is #16 and is outside looking in. Am i missing something?
  7. Swedish kid? Whatever happened to Minnesota Gophers - America's team?
  8. Quinnipiac is .0022 points ahead of UND in the RPI and idle next weekend. If UND sweeps Western, I presume UND would slip ahead of them on the RPI and take #1 in the PWR, but I am no Math Major.
  9. I too just got back from Kalamazoo. Good to see so many other Sioux, er, Hawks fans. Including the 'ugly parents', I figured around 150 scatter around the rink. I had not problem with the lunatics and their chants. They were into it, Not sure why, but something Keaton did had them on "#4" all night Saturday night. Rink was all right for hockey. An usher told me it seats 2500. She asked how many our home rink sat. Did what I could not to sound like I was bragging. The non-student fans were very friendly as were the ushers. They seemed appreciative and curious that people would drive from Bismarck (my brother) to watch this hockey team. It was apparent that the community does not follow the hockey team very closely. Most people did not know where we were from (in our UND gear), and did not know that the Broncos were even playing hockey that night. Lots of fun breweries in town. But I can only drink so much beer. I never felt unsafe downtown at night after the game. but it was pretty quite for a weekend night. Houghton and Omaha downtowns are much more interesting. (Wish we still played Tech). If I were to bring Mrs. Squirtcoach, I think we would stay in South Haven. It is a neat coastal town on Lake Michigan about 35 miles from Lawson. Lots of boutique shops and sites. the ice had been piling up this i=winter and was a interesting formation. We visited there Saturday morning on the advice of some locals we met at the game, and it was worth it. So would I go back? Maybe. But next year we have Oxford (and Chicago) in our sites.
  10. I think we ALL agree the second check was pretty egregious; Novak gets lit up twice in the same game. The question is if anyone knows if Novak was targeted for cause or were the offending Badgers just lookig for any vulnerable Gopher to light up and he happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time twice in the same game.
  11. As squirt said to me "only for the MOST passionate fans". Yeah, I watched the last period and OT. Is it possible my college hockey interest is becoming an illness?
  12. 13. I politely disagree. In fact, I think he might have a renaissance like O'Donnell last year as a bottom 6, rocking a line with Olson and Janatuinen.
  14. Has anyone heard if Joe Sensor's in Roseville will pick up the MSU UND games on B10togo this weekend?
  15. These are not tears, my eyes are hurting from looking harder.
  16. Squirt reminded me the Hawks cheer is 'it's not worth winning if you can't win big!!!' So we have that.
  17. $70 for gas in a 40 mpg Sentra $200 for hotel room for two nights $200 for for beer and food $160 for tickets Divided by 4. $160 each. Three days road tripping with my son, my brother and nephew and watching my hockey team, Priceless. If $160 for a weekend of family fun is "rich people problems", times must be pretty tough. I have some used clothes you can have, and a pond you can wash in. I have a change jar. I'm feeling for ya. Or talk to GFhockey, Hell, he drops that in one night at Augie's in March
  18. I agree with you. We are the fans that travel to Oxford or Houghton or Kalamazoo to cheer this team on: True UND Hockey (Fan)atics. See you In Kalamazoo with the other Fringe Fanatics.
  19. And yet you post real sh!t over there, hypocrite. or as you might say: BOOOOOOOOOM!
