I have been watching the protests on the Cannonball River, and witnessing the support the Sioux Nation has been recieving from all over the nation. Would it be an awesome gesture of support if the football and hockey teams from UND wore throwback jerseys in support of the people at Standing Rock this fall?

It is my understanding that next year is the 4th year of a 5 year contract. Whereas NCHC would have to void the contract for cause to leave for the X in 2018, the NCHC would be free to negotiate with any facility for the 2019 tournament. Patience in this case might be a virtue.

I think it is just fine for NBA, but is just not up to NCHC standards.

The trib is reporting that the Little 6.1 is going the same way. The X will have no college hockey starting 2018.

This tourament is poison for them. Goofy loses even one game in the classic and their RPI plummets. Winning two won't do much to improve it. Does anyone expect it be well attended?

It s a fool's errand to attempt to read anything more into that statement other than he is a National Champion.

The question being what is a worse scenario: LJ, Boeser, and Schmaltz moving to the professional ranks, or Stecher, Ladue, and Ausmus?
