  1. Hey now this is a family board.
  2. Stub and Herbs will be the place to be before the games. I enjoy that place - crowded and all. Great atmosphere and just a block and a half from the arena.
  3. That is correct...I expect this thread will be loooooooonnng by the time Friday rolls around. Half of the fun is the pre-game jabbering back and forth.
  4. Some Gopher cracker is making a point on POI that the Sioux have only played 6 road games thus far. What difference does it make it you play them in the first half of the year or the second. Of the Gophers next 7 series they play 5 of them at home. Whats you're point moron. Wondering if I should bring back the POI login
  5. On the Tech website they list Scott as 235 I think..Is he really 250?
  6. Right where they want to be my a$$.... So piss away the first half of the year and turn on a spurt against .500 and below clubs at the begining of the 2nd half (with the exception of the CC series) then start talking smack about being where you want to be at the right time? I can see it now, Lucia telling his troops this back in October.."Ok guys...we have to stink it up the first half of the year then we will have UND right where we want em!" What a crock that is...
  7. Prediction for who is going to have a big weekend for the Sioux.... 1.) Bo 2.) ZPar 3.) Brandt 4.) Murray 5.) Schneider
  8. Oh it was great last year - I believe I saw Bombardir hanging around the bar. Nothing like rubbing elbows with a bunch of Gopher fans in a packed bar before the big game. If memory serves me correctly there were a ton of Sioux fans there before the game.
  9. But I do give the guy some credit - he has balls to bring a sign like that into the REA and sit amongst a section comprised of 98% Sioux fans.
  10. Does Stub and Herbs have the largest contingent of Gopher Hockey fans before the game? Just curious as I need to know where to bring the Sioux army for a few cold ones before Fri/Sat games.
  11. Yeah I remember this clown Gopher fan (synonymous) in front of me back in November when they played us at the REA - he was holding a sign that said "The Fighting Novembers". Well buddy why don't you put a line through that "November" and pen in "December" and "January" as well. Come to think of it I think he had the floppy ear cap on as well....Moron...
  12. Exactly....Maine is ALWAYS tough. Same can be said about BU and BC. If one of these teams gets into the FF and with the it being played in their backyard (The Fleet Center) you can expect any of them to be a very formidable opponent. Similar to Minnesota playing at "home" in 2002.
  13. Correct me if I'm wrong - Vanek is leading Minnesota in penalty minutes?
  14. Difference is - Mariucci is a dump. I wouldn't let my dog take a leak in that place.
  15. Vanek is starting to remind me of Jason Blake with all of the trash talking he does on the ice. Lucky for him and like Blake he backs it up with his game.
  16. I think Woog is still pissed he wasn't able to accumulate the record Dean Blais has and will continue to compile.
  17. Woog is an idiot....Shooting his mouth off while the Goofs are pounding the special olympian team from Mankato this weekend. Yeah I can't wait until this weekend.....
  18. If you go to twincitiestickets.com (I think that is the site) you can pick youself up tickets for the Gopher/Sioux series - of course you have to be willing to fork over $160 a piece! I'm not kidding...check it out.
  19. Twas actually one of the reasons I went ahead and upgraded to Broadband...Not wanting to miss those Sioux away games.....
  20. Absolutely not....You will be watching the same still image all night if your try it with dial-up. Broadband is a MUST!
  21. From my experience the webcast from the Ralph home games is excellent. The road games are iffy...The Denver cast was horrendous and you could carely make out the players let alone the puck.
  22. Without question that scene is my favorite in the entire film.
  23. If memory serves me correctly - and I picked up the lines accurately from the 98 times I have seen that movie beginning to end - Carl has a "license to kill gophers". That of course when he isn't tending to his chich bugs and manganese problems....
