I have visions of a sweep at Minnesota - can't explain it but I have a feeling. Bochenski will have another 5+ point weekend down there after breaking out of that nasty spell earlier against the Goofs.

SiouxFanInBoston... I just replied to the confirmation e-mail I got when I booked the game on Friday night. I think the e-mail is sent directly from DataFlix sales if I remember correctly. It wasn't much more than :20 minutes after I sent the e-mail request to them that a response was generated that my account would be credited for the single game fee. I was surprised it was that quick. So they regained a little of my confidence and possibly my future business.

Dataflix refunded my $8.95 promptly after I sent them an e-mail Sunday evening with regards to the lack of Friday coverage. I was pleased with that aspect obviously but what bothered me was that I had to prompt them and they shouldn't have allowed the charge to my credit in the first place if the game was blocked.

Not sold out? That is BS. They were selling a zillion SRO tickets both nights.

Best seat in the house at the NHC is the SRO ticket.....center ice or wherever you choose if you don't mind standing for the whole game. I agree that arena is SEVERELY old school. Then again we are a bit spoiled.

Well if you live in the cities it sounds like you have two options.....1) Sensers 2) Buying a SRO ticket and heading to the game in full regalia. Personally I don't mind the SCSU fans at all - still the Gopher fans I have issue with.

Yeah SCSU getting swept at home against Denver is puzzling but shows some vulnerability and perhaps exposes a team that might not be as good as their current record. That sweep also being to the same Denver team the Sioux blew out in their building a few weeks prior to that. I see SCSU as maybe a number three team in the league if not #4. I doubt they will remain on top of the WCHA much longer - being the games played factor contributing to the Sioux's low league point total. Should be a great series nontheless but I won't be shocked if we walk away with just 2 points. I certainly don't even remotely expect the Sioux to get swept.

I have got to agree with you - a split would be good given the players out and the fact that it will be played on SCSU's home ice. SCSU did themselves proud up in GFK earlier in the year and I expect them to come out strong this weekend.

Yep agreed...Good atmosphere at Sensers for Sioux Hockey. Better than watching it in your living room! ...they seemed to have the lion's share of the big screens on the game when they played SCSU earlier this season. Should be a fun night Friday - looking forward to it.

Historically the Sioux/SCSU series is televised if you live in the Cities area and have cable television. Standing room only tickets are still being sold for both nights on ticketmaster.com and I think they are charging around $15 each.

I hate to go out on a limb and make this prediction (because I know I will get bashed for in from a few) but I will anyway.... Fighting Sioux hockey WILL become comparable to the storied history and success of the New York Yankees organization...

Nothing wrong with disagreeing on this subject. True the Sioux have a bunch since 1979 but the point was made "of all time". Sorry in my book appearances are worthless - just ask the Buffalo Bills.

Neck and neck? IF you gauge the success of a college hockey program on National Championships....I count 7 for UND....hmm....where does that leave the Gophers now? Certainly pulling up a little shy. One could make the argument that Michigan is the most successful college hockey program of all time and I would certainly agree with that.

Agreed....One of the greatest I have seen and on the road in Minnesota made it even better. I remember the crowd at Mariucci taunting Blake during the warm-up skate and he comes out within 90 seconds and scores arguablly one of the sweetest goals of the entire season if not his career. I still remember after the score that arena was so quiet you could hear the rats crawling around upstairs.

18,000 people chanting M-I-N-N etc for the Gophers after a score is not powerful - again see kindergarten spelling lesson. Moronic and gay. This is a Sioux forum - of course I'm being pro-Sioux - I'm on our home court. Suggest you visit the Gopher forum to post your pro-Gopher material otherwise get used to reading it in this forum. I have yet to meet a Gopher fan who respects the fact that UND is a far more successful hockey program than the Gophers. Getting to the point that all you hear from the mouth of a Gopher hockey fan is "Sioux suck". Baseless. I will change my mind about Gopher fans acting like they have been there before if and when Sioux fans ever riot after a National Championship. I doubt that will ever happen. See - too much class.

Heck the Gophers can't even handle Alaska Anchorage what makes you think they have even a remote shot at making the Final Five - let alone the NCAA's.

Dagies: (See be nice to the hostess who answers the phone). I was there for the St. Cloud game a few weeks back on a friday night and got a table for two right in front of the big screen. Perhaps they changed their policy since then.

Do you know why Gopher fans are disliked? a.) They can't act like they have been there before (see Rioting!) b.) Absolutely classless (I guess I have had the misfortune of being seating next to some bad Gopher fans) c.) They show no respect for arguably the greatest program/tradition in college hockey - UND. (That doesn't mean you have to like them - just respect the accomplishments). I won't even mention Goldy or that gay cheer...
