    Clueless

Hey speaking of losing a "huge" defenseman.....Anyone care to dicsuss what Commodore's loss meant to the program a few years bacK?? What possibly could have been?? We won't bring that up.

On second thought Wpos...Don't bother bringing it up. Typing is cheap. I will just assume the response was from one of your lesser than bright colleagues. Do pass on thought that I'm offering free McChickens at my work place. hehe Right!

NDH....Allow me you buy you beverage of your choice......Read your post and was thinking along the same lines.

    Clueless

It was somewhere after my initial post on POI (which incidently sparked all kinds of controversy) in which I said I hoped Parise lit up the lamp down in Minneapolis during the series. Shortly thereafter I was jumped on, told I probably worked in a sandwich shop, lived in a trailer, was 12, couldn't spell....etc. etc. etc. etc. Oh and right before the post from the obviously brilliant gentleman that failed to realize that UND won it in 2000 (which I happened to be in attendance for). I guess 2000 wasn't considered part of the "new millenium" point he was trying to make.

An honest question for Wpos...Can you ask your buddy on POI why he inadvertently? left out Commodore, Blake and Johnson from the list of former Sioux from the 90's era? I think he was trying to make a point that Leopold being a leading minutes guy for Calgary was far and away producing more than any of the former Sioux (during the 90's and early 2000's) collectively in the NHL. Or I can ask him myself.....New IP, login and all. PS...I ran a spell checker on this post so we should be ok. As always please point out any typo's or grammatical infractions I may have inadvertently made. Thank you

#3 in scoring on the #1 team in the nation is pretty darn respectable. If you asked him I'm sure he would rather be #3 in scoring on this team rather than be #1 in scoring on the 25th ranked team. Besides Zach is a team player, plays both ends of the ice equally as well and is far from being a puck hog.

Hrkac...I love the quote under your posts.....
  8. I second you on the Boston tickets.
  9. Banned? Oh not so fast. An IP change and reincarnation is a click away. You still have yet to answer any of my questions. Where have I posted something disrespectful? Yet your colleagues in poi land seemed to enjoy assuming I live in a trailer down by the river. Man you Gopher fans are all alike - will to toss stones yet live in a glass house.
  10. Hey Pos...You still haven't answered my questions - please tell me where I have posted something as disrespectful as picking on a guy's weight. As usual you continue to circumvent the issue or cite an example of your beef with my posts. Hey is everything in this post spelled correctly and did I utilize proper grammar throughout both of these paragraphs? It is nice to know you don't have to be a perfectionist to be an MBA candidate - otherwise I would be bounced from the program.
  11. Sweet...Nice stats..... Lets hope he stays healthy all season.
  12. And on the flip side we need to also vote for all Gopher fans posting on in this forum. You above all people Lawkota should recognize freedom of speech and opinion.
  13. Now we got a little spark going...this is more like it..... By the way Wpus...e-mail me prior to the series and I will gladly give you my seat # and row and we can meet face to face. Heck I'm such a nice guy - come up to the coaches club and I might even buy you a drink while we discuss our different perspectives on Gopher Hockey fans. Or I can dial you up on the short wave radio - I presume your name is your handle..
  14. Not 12....15...Now get it right. Respectful? Can you please point out a disrespectful post?
  15. Hey just trying to level the playing field a little. I don't mind read other fan's postings - really. But we need to spread the love a little on their site's similar to how they spread it on ours. Yes I thought of putting PILEONICE in large letters with a caption or pictorial underneath of a Gopher squatting down letting go of a steaming pile of sh*t. Adobe Photoshop will work wonders with the graphics.
  16. Aw come on...All in good fun. I need to recruit another person to bring the PILEONICE sign to Mariucci Jan 23rd. I'm making mine tonight. You got that right - I don't know many people from the cities that have season tickets to Sioux Hockey.....I make almost every game - fly or drive.
  17. It is Done...Come and join me. There is plenty of room in the pool. I see Wpos is there now. Wind from the South.
  18. Thank you Jim. Time to post away on the pileonice.com site.
  19. Don't know about you but I saw another lackluster Goofs performance last weekend against a 4-6 BU team playing in a sub-par Hockey East conference.
  20. No doubt...You are right. I think any team in the WCHA this year has the potential to beat any other team on any given night even more so this year than years past. I'm optimistic we can sweep Minnesota down in the cities but realistically a split seems more logical. We do have a better chance at a sweep this year due to a stronger and deeper Sioux lineup as opposed to a weaker Goofers team. Absolutely and without question ....no WCHA team should be overlooked.
  21. With regards to a sweep of the Goofs in Minneapolis this year..... I don't recall the last time the Sioux swept them in Grank Forks either but they did it this year. So I'm optimistic for a sweep in Minneapolis....but more confident than in years past.
  22. I would like the link to the Gopher message board similar to this one. Seems as though there are just too many gopher "fans" infiltrating this forum. I would like to pay the same respects on the other end. Do they even have one?
  23. I have some extra cash laying around. Earned a bunch when the Goofs played in GFK. Funny - the friendly wager was total points for any one player up at the Ralph when they played in Nov. I picked Bochenski and my Gopher fan colleague picked Vanek. No surprises there. I think you know Vanek was shutout and Bochenski had 5 points on Friday night. I don't see Vanek being shutout at Mariucci like he was at the Ralph but I do see a hard fought series with the Sioux winning by a goal each night.
