  1. Lindenwood moving up to play next year is another advantage they will have over Augustana. Think Augie may be missing a opportunity by waiting a extra year. There will be alot of players in the transfer portal and more available since the covid 5th year opened up more talent pool. They could've played out of the Premier Center for a year, or heck the Scheels Iceplex which is not a facility has more capacity then some college teams see at their home rinks. (Augie hasn't actually started building the rink, only moving buildings off the site). Lindenwood will most likely use a mix of their current roster and transfers, and possibly convince some commits to switch to LU. They have a advantage by having a team and operations already, now have to handle the move from ACHA D1 to NCAA D1.
  2. Didn't even attempt a shot in that last 45 secs of the game. MSUM did a great job of getting in lanes, but you have to get the puck towards the net and create havoc. Don't have the time to be fancy, and it cost them.
  3. I would have to look up the NCHC rule, but I am sure it is nearly the same as HS/USA rules. Where if the hand covers or goes over top of the puck, even if to swipe out, it is a penalty shot if in the crease. More often to see guys do it to shove under their goalie, but it doesn't matter if it is a split second it is supposed to be a PS.
  4. You should find someone who has access to one of the original designs. You would be surprised how much nicer it was planned to be, bowl included. Not sure if it was budget cut or hurrying to be ready for the World Juniors to use as a extra space, or both. But the change was drastic. Also I have read somewhere in the past that the Alerus was built to be expanded on the ends, but adding the hotel and convention center took away that possibility on the north end for sure.
  5. He probably thinks lowly of UND being he was the USF coach when they won at the Alerus
  6. They held really well against the run. Some huge timely sacks, but I have no idea what iSU coach thought not trying to mix in more passes when that has been what has been burning us.
  7. Focus on winning. If we get in fantastic! If not we are not expecting it. But we do know from past years that the MVFC carries alot of weight into the meetings. But boy 2 of those games should be for sure wins and atleast 1 of the others can easily be the worst coaching decision I have seen to give up the lead. But having Adam Stage would've been huge for the 3 FGs(1 blocked and 2 missed in final 5 min) against SIU and the crazy unfortunate fumble at MoST with meltdown to give up 11pt lead really hurt
  8. Radio just said "Weah...Man is he a closer". He definately helped alot right here in this game
  9. I was hoping he would learn to run more expecially after he did the same thing of throwing while scrambling with alot of green turf in the NDSU game. Just this time it wasn't intercepted

I think we lost to last place CC in the Ralph in 2016 Natty Championship run. Sometimes it doesn't matter how you win if you win consistently. We have seen 16 seeds upset 1 seeds and low seeds make the frozen four. If you can make the tournament you have a chance. Our conference is tough so coming in without a clean non conference schedule is hard but string wins together and see where that takes you, we are in October with a young team. Hard day for UND, but hockey is just starting. We want more from the team but glad we didn't get mopped today. We seemed to have felt the same in 2017 and 2018 with down years after lots of talent left. I want us to be consistently good and make the tournament for more then 15 straight years again, but this time win multiple Natty's. That be the dream
  11. And makes these harder. BC we know we should've won atleast 3 of these games and we shot ourselves. Either way I do not like the status quo. We can compete with the MVFC but I do not like 1-4 in the year when some of our top talents are gone next season.
  12. https://twitter.com/MOStateFootball/status/1454574541410160640?t=UuYjmvtgyb8ZItwxA0kMrg&s=19 This is Missouri States winning TD. The TE had no one close to him in coverage. Our backside pressure also pushed their QB to look that way at wide open TE
  13. We only seem to run them either early in game or at dumb points when we are winning. Never when we are behind and a successful one could help.

I miss the huge number of pages of Gopher fans complaining about not getting tickets for Vegas on GPL
  15. We talk about how creative our coaches are when they run trick plays that work against the Drakes and WIU, or 1 quarter at Utah state, but not when it causes major swings that don't need to happen, aka today and Richmond in the playoffs, or even the stupid call against NDSU. Seemed Bubba used to preach clock management and simple ball, but the last however many years our clock management have been terrible such as snapping the ball with alot of time on play clock, holding on to TOs going into a half and running out of time; or ounting while losing with under 4min left
  16. Haven't seen much video from this game but on the lasy MSU TD our CB is 5 yards atleast off the reciever. Other games it was even further. We don't have anyone that can man on and jam at the line?
  17. Think i saw earlier it was 15pts. So yes right now. Would've liked to see the extra 7 on the board that was just called back
  18. As soon as i saw it i knew it was coming due to the direction the defender fell. Wouldn't be surprised if he knew block was coming and tried embellishing it a bit.
  19. One of them would've been nice with under 5min left last week. Obviously SIU defense is better then WIU
  20. I forced youtube to show 720p60 (highest option) for this stream and it is much better. Was showing 144p at first
  21. The quality that I saw highlights from was much clearer so not sure if Flo is sourcing down or the xsplit broadcaster is. Still better than alot of coverage across the country.
  22. Alex does lives in SF and drives up for the weekends, made the move a few years ago. I think he would stay with UND on Midco. He is a USF guy anyhow I believe. Also Midco has 3 channels. And SDSU/USD/Augie/USF always get put on 2nd channel if UND is playing. I would bet it would be the same. UND on Midco Sports 1 and Augie on Midco Sports 2 if on conflicting nights. Not conflicting games all on Midco1. Midco needs additional content for their secondary channels and this would help.
  23. His jersey was pulled off his shoulder pad. Not sure how that isnt called. The 2nd UND defender was blocked in the back too, but official wasn't looking there. The Holm hold the official is looking right at it
  24. Like most that transition they will remove sports, most likely wrestling as 1. But they also have a large donor that they are able to keep going into his deep pockets.
  25. Denny Sanford gives huge donation. New rink is called Midco Arena. To start play in 2023.
