Me too…pretty dang dynamic if you ask me. Watching Miller was probably a plus last year. Has some snarl to his game too. Only knock is he isn’t the biggest kid but that’s slowly not being paid attention to as much the last few years. I’m hoping he has a big year and slips into the first.

This. I get the shiny object effect but I truly down our top 6 is full of underclassmen. We may be in a world of hurt if that’s the case. Kunz, etc all put up similar numbers to those guys. They should all get looks…but again, I’d be shocked if they were all top 6. Blake should probably get the first look (at least on the pp) as he’s a wizard but D may be lacking. I could see James too at even strength filing in a w role.

Ya…Jackson was an honorable mention. Author could have easily been a Sioux hater. #1 was a Mankato guy…Denver has two in the top 10 I believe edit- it was actually Cory Pronman. Not sure how much he knows about college puck but he is a high end hockey sport writer for sure.

I just read an Athletic article which lists all the top college recruiters…no UND guys. Which I found interesting given our popularity

We have some other recruits that I’m getting a bit worried about, struggling bad in juniors. The next year will be interesting.

Started the AJ really hot last year cooled drastically the second half of the year and did nothing in the playoffs. The AJ isn’t a very deep league. Pandemic was not good to some of these kids.

I don’t see him on Okotoks roster either. No sure where he’ll be playing this year. Should catch on with someone.

Nick Pierre has kind of fallen in recent years but the fact he hasn’t been drafted is a plus. He can continue to develop in the ushl and come in as an overager fairly polished. I’m kind of hoping Bubs offers him a spot

He has no business playing college puck this year, I’m guessing either cc pulled a scholly or he’s betting on himself to have a big year

Agreed, this team will be really good. Not a ton of raw skill at the upperclassmen level, but hopefully there’s enough grit to score. Hopefully they play a possession game, last year’s dump and chase mentality was tough to watch at times.
