  1. Kids unreal. He’ll need a nice center though.
  2. I swear he’s gotten maybe 2-3 shifts
  3. Agreed, I get that. But definitely had a serious regression when given an expanded role. Very odd.
  4. Agreed, definitely not "peaked" but I definitely thought he would be much above the pt/gm kind of guy, especially in that league. Still not a bad year though. Blaisdell really came back down to earth during the second half as well. goal totals were still nice though. Stratton's numbers were those that had me most interested. averaged a pt/gm playing second fiddle last year, coach noted he was going to be an "80 pt player" then significantly tapered off. Goal totals slightly alarming, especially for a good team. I'm still gald we got him but thought he was one of those, diamond in the rough kind of guys. Could still turn it around though.
  5. Completely agree. As to your second sentence, who are you talking about?
  6. Haha, there outliers definitely, however a smart guy once told me "you're only as good as you are on paper". It seems to apply to many things in life. Obviously teams need certain role players, however, those role players should have solid production at the previously level played. Development is a ladder approach, you never really know a ceiling until you hit it.
  7. Agreed....most of recruits tapered off towards the end of the year, except Pinto who's risen nicely.
  8. Brett Murray is not going to Miami next year...this has to be someone Bubs is all in on. Second in the USHL in pts.
  9. Maybe, East Coast kids rarely come this way, but maybe. Seems to be a rumor around Northeastern.
  10. Ha. anyway, kid was hurt for a chunk of the year. Who know if it lingered. Numbers were bad, bud I’d take a flyer on him.
  11. I’m not criticizing the commit, just saying he’s tiny.
  12. Judging by his size.....probably 30.
  13. He's got a shot on net. He started out the year doing well, has cooled off drastically. Don't believe he has a point in the tourney and they've thrown up double digits multiple times. Only F without a point.
  14. He's super skilled....but tiny.
  15. ....no way. And nor should he. Poach as much as he wants or can.
  16. Yes. Unless there is a specialized recruiter out there. I’d like one of the NTDP assistants
  17. Noticed Caulfield really tapered off towards the end of the year. His team is scoring in bunches during the U18s and he doesn’t even have a shot a bet. Wonder if a kid like that would be better off playing for a Ushl or bchl team and play in all situations
  18. I honestly think he was leaving anyway. As far as who's coming in next, must be someone young. No way Herter comes here, he's the associate HC at UMD isnt he? Why would he come here to be third fiddle. His next move is to a HC position. I think a guy like Mannino would be interesting, good recruiter from what I can hear.
  19. I honestly think he was leaving anyways. I'd get Mannino (sp?), just got canned at Miami. Seemed to be a nice young recruiter.
  20. He’s been ranked higher all year....on all scouting sites.
  21. I know. I tracked him during the year. He was one of the older guys on the team. The team was good and he was supposed to be the guy. Obviously he was a top 3-4 guy on their team, but he was supposed to be the guy. Just pointing out facts, he regressed in year two.
