I don't think we played all that bad last night and by no means did Omaha dominate us last night. They outshot us by like 5 shots and they were throwing the puck at the net every time they crossed the blue line. There were times in the third that UNO actually looked decent but during the first two periods they looked either star struck or bad, one of the two. When we started moving our feet we were obviously head and shoulders above them. Their goalie played very well. Scoring chances is not a recognized stat but we had so many during the first and early second, just couldn't capitalize. I would say that we will come out and crush them tonight but UNO seemed to get better as the game went along last night.

Not from my vantage point. They've gotten the calls and have capitalized on two defensive meltdowns. I guarentee 98 percent of their shots are perimeter only. Und should have closed the game in the first.

I don't necessarily think that should knock them off the top of the list. I believe that is only their second loss of the year....and to a pretty darn good team is appears. Harvard has only lost once and they have 11 draft picks. I think they'll be top 16 come the end of the year.

That may be a stretch, Mitchell Mattson is the only potential blue chipper I believe.

The key word is prospect. 1st rd draft picks are blue chip prospects. Prospects don't always pan out. Remember these kids get drafted at 18 years old.

Blue chips are first round eligible prospects or guys taken in the first round. Neither Gersich or Pogs fit. I am high on Gersich though. I think he'll breakout during his soph, junior or senior years.

Completely agree with you on this. A lot of fans have given up on Murph but Im actually hoping he figures it out. We need him for the next 2.5 years. Regarding your last comment.....you did forget to mention he has 10 assists in 10 games. That's really good.

I cannot honestly say I know Chyzk will be out for any amount of time. However, I did see him at the game and he was wearing a sling. To answer the question, I think we see a similar lineup next Friday. I thought Mattson looked pretty good so I'm guessing he plays. Poolman looked the part too at forward. I still would like to see Stecher at forward but his d pairing has played too well to split up.
