Funny thing, they called soon after I posted that message.

What is the deal with the tickets, my family hasn't received a call from the Ralph yet? Weren't they supposed to call on 10/9?
-
Wolanin is already 19 this year, if he was planning on going to the chl he would already be there.
-
Yeah, definitely can't blame the coach. What did you mean he was used in the wrong way? They put him in both top 6 and bottom 6 roles and he failed to impress in both.
-
u True. No other teams have him an offer huh?

University of North Dakota Hockey 2014-15 season

Very few amateur players, from all leagues worldwide, are going to spend a lot of time in the NHL. -
Gostisbehere was drafted, he was the first big recruit Union had pulled (and I believe he was a 3rd or 4th rounder). some posters are trying to say hak should change his recruiting style and I think that is completely idiotic. Coaches recruit talent, they don't pass on talent. All those players you mentioned have talent. There is talent on the east cost too

CC had a rough time with UAH....we need a sweep here or we will not be #3.
-
Tough league.

Some of you guys don't get it. A coach doesn't recruit for those "4 year players" he recruits for talent. Yes, the unions and yales have had recent success but a lot of it was luck. When 57 other teams pass on a kid there is a reason for it. In Haks defense, you don't just turn a blind eye to talent, he is competing against the gophers and Eagles and the chl for the best young kids in the country. Those "4 year players" are the result of everyone else passing on them and a lot of luck. That's why those teams typically are hot and cold every other year. However, hak has had a lot of talent and even our "4 year players" could have played almost anywhere else, so he needs to get one relatively soon.

I'm probably as frustrated as anyone and have also been critical of Hak, however, it's way too early to start complaining. Save it for the offseason. "Hak team's" have their flaws however they have also been a pretty decent product as well. A guy deserves time to win a natty and I'm guessing his clock is ticking. This topic should be an offseason topic though, not after the first weekend of the year.

This thread needs to die.

Stetcher is a fluid skater and shows flashes of offense (from the point) however even in the short time my feed worked last night I saw him make several mistakes on the PP. The reason I was solely focused on him is because I wanted to gain some sort of understanding as to why Keaton sits over him. The other D man some people on here thought would be a rotational player was Ausmus however he has been noticeable in a good way.
-
A tad harsh and direct but your statement isn't completely false. They can play better than they have so far however.
-
I thought Poolman looked decent. His size was noticeable. He needs to be in the lineup. I didn't notice Olson much at all but I did notice his line. My feed was spotty at best so I can't speak much to their play. From what I have heard the goal would be to get all the freshman forwards in the lineup by the end of the season. They need to push some of the older players.
-
I definitely like St. Clair in the lineup. I actually liked that line he was playing on. Get Pogs and Keaton back in the lineup and we're golden.
-
Yeah....but that's JV football.
-
boys are still going through the motions....they need to step it up soon or we'll tie.
-
Me too. They better be refunding. Grainy is one thing....not working at all is another.
-
Not for me.
