  1. Hopefully well. He doesn't play for a high scoring team in the USHL (Fargo), however his numbers are a lot lower than I thought they would be given his age. It is his first full year in the USHL however. Hopefully it's the Brodsinski effect.
  2. Agreed, they should get better as the year goes on. They are also missing Santini who I believe is a 1st rounder. Also, I think this just shoes how tough college hockey is for younger teams. Look at Hanafin, everyone though he was going to go gangbusters like Eichel. Although he was been pretty solid I guess, he has not been one of the best defensemen in the country, yet.
  3. Alabama has 15. Second most ever? For hockey only. I'm definitely bowing out of this argument now. Let's proceed with non-UND hockey.
  4. I think so. Definitely MN hands down. LSU beat WIS after playing the worst first quarter I had seen in some time. All with freshman littered throughout their lineup. They came back on WIS like it was a video game. There isn't a huge difference between FLA and LSU. Also, FLA's freshman qb has looked ok in some games. Interested to see them against FSU if they can keep it close early.
  5. SEC is the gauntlet. but I agree with everything else you noted. big12 and pac 12 haven't gotten the respect they deserve, except for the selection committee I guess.
  6. I'm going to jump out of this one. were in big10 country aren't we. To me (bama fan), the big ten is so incredibly overrated. Fyi I was talking about fla not Georgia
  7. Because in the grand scheme of things they are a decent football team. I would guess that they would beat MN, wis and Nebraska
  8. Sheehy is going to MN, who are the others? shaw is going to und. I do agree though, sounds like minny or bc.
  9. SEC west overrated? Right.
  10. I said it. Excluding OSU and maybe msu, who would beat them?
  11. So you watch college football? SEC is the gold standard, and there really isn't an argument. The previous poster was right, they cannibalize each other every year. Every other team you referenced, excluding Oregon, has a joke schedule. Even Oregon lost to an average team. Arkansas bets Arizona without doubt.
  12. Yeah I was just messing around. It has been an awesome run for them though, I'm glad the wcha is having a nice start.
  13. I skate with some guys who know his family quite well (Burnsville guys). They noted last year, during the state tourney, that he definitely was not interested in playing in the TC. That's the reason he chose WIS. Odd. Whoever gets him will be glad. He's awesome.
  14. You really love your tech squad . U from that area originally?
  15. I agree. Ladue is obviously a bit rusty/hurt still, he'll be fine by next weekend. I actually thought Murphy made a few nice plays, now only if he could pick up his compete level. The top line looked extremely dominant. Wondering what they'll do when schmaltz comes back. I would go back to him playing with cags and keeping mark and parks together. I'm still not sure who sits but I hope poolman is back next weekend. I did not see any defenseman who played bad however. I'm guessing mattson could be a regular now. Hak was trying to jolt him. Mattson didn't play great but he wasn't a liability out there. Maybe Thompson sits who knows at this point. Additionally, I hope Poganski is back.
  16. Boys looked good tonight.
  17. Oh, without doubt.
  18. Interesting....poolman huh
  19. Yeah, there are certain people on this board that like to call out every single mistake Thompson makes however he played ok last night. I did happen to notice his reaction time was slow on the PP but that's probably because he hasn't played that much.
  20. Agreed, actually the first ten minutes or so we're just putrid, cost us the game. I thought our D looked poor at times. Poolman a huge mistake on that shorty. That pinch was "men's league-ish". He'll fix that though. Additionally, our PP is getting pretty bad. Hopefully tonight isn't the night where the refs decide to give Miami the PPs because it seemed like we had them last night, haven't checked the box score though.
  21. That's on poolman. Boys don't look like they want it tonight.
  22. Defensive meltdown early
  23. I think I said I would be happy with a split. My first drink went down pretty smooth....feeling lucky. Plus I'll be at the games.
  24. If we stay out of the box I think we sqeak one out tonight. Williams falls apart tonight. 5-4 good guys. Olson scores first goal tonight. Saturday - Miami laid it all out there Friday, come up with a dud on Saturday. 3-2 good guys.
