  1. Those are the top dogs for the blue chips…curious where mn has been
  2. From what I’ve gathered…Swanson either isn’t an elite skater or he’s not a burner. Supposedly his shot isn’t plus either. So while his vision is elite, he’s supposedly minus in a couple other key areas. The smaller players that get drafted early typically are trigger men (I.e Caufield, DeBrincat) and/or they absolutely fly.
  3. Sam Waither to BC. Another nice get
  4. Swanson too, he posted the F article 30 or so before. Sounds like Emery may be our only chance at representation barring a huge first half. Swanson was getting tons of PP looks but it appears it just wasn’t clicking. Quick event; he would have a chance next year too. Onto the season.
  5. Nate Yellowaga to Maine, really good get. Maine seems to be recruiting really good lately.
  6. Carter Sanderson committed. SF power. Seemed to come on a bit this year.
  7. They’ve got some nice commits so far.
  8. Not only Moorhead…there’s a ton of kids from MN with UND/GF ties that are about 2-3 years away. Some of those players are tops in the country….at least at the moment. A lot of things change obviously.
  9. Alexander Carmonov to Penn state. Never heard of him…but he’s 6’11” 251. A lot of guys add an inch or two. Not to 6’11” though.
  10. They getm young…we see who figures out juniors.
  11. Chartrand to BC…another big get.
  12. Ya. Trains with Boisvert too. Oh well these early commits can be hit or miss anyways.
  13. Tynan Lawrence to BU. I know we were in on him
  14. Croskery to BC
  15. P Trottier to the Irish…in typical Edina fashion.
  16. Agree, 26 is fine.
  17. H Rudolph?
  18. JP Hurlbert (very top ‘08 in the US) down to Wisco and Michigan. Not shocked
  19. Not much but if they have mediocre years again I would assume they both play a year of ushl. That’s kind of been the newer trend.
  20. Yeah Cullen could be a bit tougher…I would assume Bubs is already working on this as Wyatt’s younger bro is even better. You’d probably get both which is a colossal haul.
  21. Unreal location for him. He’ll get drafted next year.
  22. I feel terrible for him. I remember watching him in his youth days…he was so good.
  23. It isn’t new. But it’s cool, I was there last year and there’s definitely a cool feel to the whole place.
  24. I’ve been to Ann Arbor and have seen their facilities. Top tier. Better than ours?…no. But the campus and the city itself is unreal. Coupled with the big program environment (football, basketball etc) just a tough place to recruit against. Add in the fact Ann Arbor is 20 minutes away from Plymouth and that creates a whole new issue. Odds are stacked against us. But we get a few blue chips (typically local or former NHL/UND players kids) and we backfill with late bloomers and we do just fine.
  25. No. Maybe here and there…but not like they do. They also have nice facilities, tradition, as well as some other things.
