  1. You're a legend Stoney. I think a split is very likely but I'm going sweep as well.
  2. Loaded with college talent for sure. We even have one blue chipper in there. I think some posters were comparing this year's forwards to those of past years....especially the mid-2000 years. Those years we were really loaded. Multiple blue chippers every year.
  3. We are +90 huh? Intersting, it seems every game I've actually checked we have been behind. I was at both games last weekend and CC was definitely outshooting us. Many low quality shots however.
  4. Agreed.....but it seems we get out shot every week. It used to be where we out shot everybody. I've noticed that this year. If you exclude LSSU and Niagra, we pretty much lose that battle. Is this team a little too cute? Who knows.
  5. Agreed, I just wonder what is taking so long. It would seem that if he went the Minny direction it would be a quick choice given the obvious. He must be looking at us pretty hard. But again, I strongly think it will be MN. I have mentioned this before, but I have skated with family friends/acquaintances of his and everything they had told me roughly a year ago was that he definitely did not want to play at MN. Odd because that is when they were dominating. Funny what a year does to kids.
  6. Agree with the split. I wonder where all the und fans are that were mocking blais late last year and also picking them to be a poor team this year. I posted late last year that I thought uno would be a very good team this year based on their good incoming recruits and several regular posters slightly mocked me for saying such a thing. Looks like blais has his boys playing. Just saying. Additionally, look at the stats page for his team, they're all freshman and sophomores. Scary. Either way, go Sioux!.
  7. Oh I must have been behind on my twitter feed. Agreed...but I like J. Schmaltz too. Those guys you mentioned are good for sure and I'm glad we have them but the reason UND has been so consistent for the past 15 years are the types of recruits Blais and Hak have brought in (good ones ). More often than not a high end recruit is better than a low end recruit. There are obviously exeptions but again, the odds are on the high end recruits. It seems everyone mentions the Yales and the Unions but those types of teams never have sustainable success, just short term successes.
  8. Josh Maniscalco, #8 overall un-commited recruit. I think that Adams kid was in the 30's (as a comparison). Doesn't mean all that much, these boys are young.
  9. Agreed. Minny just landed a huge D recruit too.

    The Truth

It makes complete sense. It also seems factual. Can anything be done to save the old nickname at this point....no.
  11. I agree. I think I'd rather catch passes from Schmaltz though.
  12. I hear you. However, I was tracking his tweets Saturday night and he seemed to be a Gopher fan. Maybe goon knows more.
  13. Sorry in advance, I have no idea where to post this. Does anyone know when the "Red Army" movie/documentary will be coming out? Or how you could see it?
  14. Wow, this jinx is much stronger than that disclaimer you wrote.
  15. A day after the meltdown....hopefully that helps us in some sort of way.
  16. I like these lines too. Or give Olson a shot on that second. I wonder how pogs would look on that second line for LJ?
  17. I'm still shocked this happened to that team. I like it but it's confusing at the same time.
  18. agree 100%. Im starting to think there is a small chance we see him back. He is still thin and probably needs to put on 15 more lbs to play in the nhl. He has the talent but must get bigger.
