  1. Hawks, NS, or RR. Has to be one of those. I have a tough time believing RR will make it through. I like NS more than Hawks I guess.
  2. http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=100746 Rocco caught some grief on here from time to time and especially when he left however what a class act. Great alum.
  3. He could always bolt anytime in the season...like Gropp. However, I doubt it.
  4. ....sure
  5. Climax-Fisher? Yeah....apple to apples there bud.
  6. agreed. It mimicks the NHL.
  7. hawks - not good but ok north stars - ok nodaks - not good but may grow on me before i die sundogs - never roughriders - not good but ok
  8. Agreed, two completely different levels of talent.
  9. haha yeah that was the funniest part, they are actually more like opposites
  10. That makes sense. Great reason to go there too.
  11. Agree....and it's a much tougher league. Much deeper. The BCHL is good though.
  12. http://thehockeywriters.com/chicago-blackhawks-top-10-prospects-5-through-1/?ref=yfp This is the worst assessment of Nick Schmaltz I have ever read. Literally, the worst. The writer is positive when writing about Schmaltz but his assessment of the type of player he is could not be further from accurate.
  13. Absolutely. But real smart kids (and their parents) understand what Harvard and Yale are too. Think Jim Vesey.
  14. I read he has an offer for Yale and Harvard....it would be hard for a kid to pass that up.
  15. The 3x3 prior to a shootout is a great idea. Should be fun to watch.
  16. Just think....if we had a nickname Fabbro probably would have already committed by now.
  17. Big get.
  18. I was. The CPA in my username doesn't have anything to do with my profession however.
  19. haha, I was kind of joking...some of you are intense...enjoy the remainder of your summer.
  20. I am not discounting anything you posted, but I would temper expectations with Wilkie and Gersich. Yes, they could be solid freshman but it wouldn't surprise me if at least one of them went through a learning curve phase. I am expecting a guy like Chyzk to put it together this year. He has shown brief flashes of being decent however his consistency hasn't been there. He plays hard, plays solid D, and has a good shot. To start the year I would like to see him play top 6 minutes. Between Gersich and Wilkie, Gersich may be more likely to succeed in his first year of college hockey because of his motor. I could see Wilkie taking slightly longer.
  21. Good representation huh? I'm guessing I know what their majors are. Also, young kids can be swayed so easily.
  22. Agreed. He has that grinder mentality that could fit on one of the top two lines. He does have offensive skill, he simply needs to find some consistency. Put him out there with Schmaltz and Johnson. Let Caggs play with Boeser and maybe Chyzk to start the year.
  23. ....and the students have spoken. This is going to be an interesting ending I believe.
