  1. It already is. In the same state....and in the same city. Let's move on from that one.
  2. I agree with Zane and Jordan however Nick leaving would absolutely blow me away. He's a few years away. I would put Ladue at under 50% and both Stetcher and Drake will be back. As far a NS goes, to leave college hockey early (as a offensive player) you need to be dominating the league. He has some flashy plays every so often but is no where near ready to make the jump. I honestly think another year would help Jordan a lot as far as his consistency but he's a 1st rounder so I'm guessing he feels (and all his advisors feel) that he should go.
  3. Makes sense. I also agree the AHL is a great league. One thing though, to play in the AHL and succeed (as far as being an NHL prospect) you typically need to be a very very good college player. I think one more year would really help Ladue. He started out with a bang but really leveled off. Good player but one more year against college competition could really help his confidence going forward.
  4. That would be so lame. The best they can come up with is to copy the nickname of the local high school? That would be terrible. Good nickname? Sure, but not only has it been used but by a local school.
  5. But we were talking about the comparison between stetcher and krug. Everything else you noted makes sense and is known.
  6. I do agree with your comment about Zane and Jordan but who have you heard that from outside of this site? Ladue is probably more like 30/70...it would have to be a heck of a deal. Tucker is going no where soon, he has a lot to learn yet.
  7. Oilers North Stars (I kind of like Jets but that is already taken....same theory with Rough Riders).
  8. I also agree 100%. Also, didn't the Jets say Copp would get a chance to play with the big club this year? Who wouldn't take that deal. I, for one, am not totally against these signings unless the player is no where near ready. Copp's ceiling is probably 3rd liner (similar to Vande) so why not go and get acclimated early. The AHL is a great league that can get you ready for the show. Staying one extra year to get your degree is not that big of a deal for many of these players as they're going to play hockey regardless, why not start cashing the checks one year earlier. But note, I meant when the player is ready....which Copp seems to be. Sounds like he has a decent head on his shoulders, he already noted he would finish his degree. Now Vessey, I though it was a great idea for him to come back. He could probably use another 10 lbs on his frame and that Harvard degree is worth it.
  9. His age....and yes LA will try to get him to play in the AHL next year.
  10. Yes I know Starman compared Stetcher to Krug a few games back but there really should be no comparison at this point in their careers. Yes, the compete level is right there but the production of Stetcher is no where near Krug's level yet. Stetcher is no where near ready to make the jump....even Krug stuck around 3 years.
  11. You're right, Rocco's injuries had more to do with how he grew. A side injury simply exposed the underlying problem.
  12. I also saw him walking around the arena...zero limp and no brace. Obviously that doesn't mean too much though, from a structure standpoint.
  13. Agreed, I probably shouldn't have even brought it up because it was such a big win for the boys however he did fumble it a few times. I believe he ended up staying with the puck but still looked shaky doing it. Re-watch the game, he did. My bro and I were right there and were gasping a few times he held the puck, once he attempted to sauce it to JS and almost gave SCSU the puck on the door step. But, no one should be making a big deal out of it because he hadn't played in such a long time and scored a big one for us. My initial response was soley due to the fact I wanted to see Thompson back out there.
  14. What?!?! Haha, ok I get it now. I like the fact Panz can play when called upon but that guy was feeling the nervs I bet. His hands were definitely shaky in the D zone. On a side note, Murph played pretty well but that line was not overly noticeable. I thought the St clair line was pesty the entire weekend. Boys should be pumped for the F4.
  15. And it made me pretty nervous. yes Panz scored a goal but he also fumbled the puck in the slot about three different times. We need Thompson back bad.
  16. More with less? Blais has a dang good team and pulled some really nice recruits in the past few years. After last season I noted that Blais would have a scary team this year and some posters noted I was nuts for thinking that after they lost Archibald. Guy is simply a very good coach however I think our squad is better. We can't look past BU though, that will be a tilt.
  17. Guy needs to retire. He's reaching.
  18. I think hak was doing it on purpose. His body language was about as bad as any player I've seen in a long time. At one point NS turned to the bench and visibly mouthed "why" when being taken off the ice on the PP. Constantly rolling his eyes. My bro and I were both blown away by how he was acting. No other player was doing anything close. Last night was the closest I've ever sat at a Sioux game....I could see eye lashes.
