I get it and I wouldn't be shocked if boeser and schmaltz were together. My thought process was that this year more than other years these guys need to be very responsible in their own end. Drake is solid defensively and has been around a while, Boeser is also known to play good in his own end. I was more trying to split those two up. There has to be at least two guys on each of the top two lines that can be responsible defensively. Schmaltz has never been a stud when it comes to playing defense so that has to be covered up. I would have put Wilkie higher but I've heard the same things with him, he doesn't care too much about the other side of the game. We'll see. Loading up the top line is fun to watch and they definitely will on the PP however those other three lines better be dang good for them to be able to do that.

What? You do realize other teams lose players as well. There is no way we go 9-11 before Jan 1, have you looked at our schedule? Pretty cupcake until the conference play. Yes we are bringing in young players but several of them will make an immediate impact and one could be the best player on our team. I am perfectly content with our group of forwards and our defense is easily the best in the country (and it really is not all that close). The only area I am a tiny bit worried about is our goal-tending however bringing in one of the better goalie prospects in this year's draft should be adequate.

What did everyone else get charged from NCHC.tv? There was supposed to be a deal where we received last year's dues. I was charged $89.99, I could have swore it was cheaper than that.

I've seen him play 3-4 times and I have never figured out what people saw in him. He was consistently one of the worst players on the entire ice.

Zane played good (stopped 10/11 shots). Only goal let up was on the PK. Schmaltz with an assist last night, Trupp too.

This UND coach can't really make adjustments can he. I don't watch a lot of FCS football but this is the pretty bad play calling by UND.

I have been wondering this too. Really tough decision I'm guessing. Based on PPG (because he was hurt last year) Shaw was the top offensive Dman in the entire USHL last season, also went bonkers in the USHL playoffs. Wolanin, statistically, was also pretty dang good and was a 4th rd draft pick. I'm guessing they rotate to begin the season. My initial thought is it would be tough to sit a 4th rounder however I have seen crazier things here at UND.

I like this game....I'm guessing T. Olson. Kid was really good in the USHL. Also the Finnish kid. Another over ager that put up great numbers in the USHL.

That's actually happened to me before. I went to quote someone else and somehow my message was the only text within the quote.
