Agree, everyone of these players could easily be playing for CC right now.

I'm really shocked this is how they've started after the past few weeks.

I haven't noticed our big boys whatsoever.

This has been the worst stream of the year...but it's still not terrible. I saw that last goal pretty clear. I have high speed internet though. cc is beating us in every way possible.

Terrible rule that we still have a guy go to the box after that goal. Why differentiate from the NHL....such a bad rule.

Murphy didnt stay long enough. I also heard his work ethic was terrible.....rubbed the coaches the wrong way. Murphy has 18 pts in 27 games for a terrible ASU team. I'd take that right now.

Yeah I know. They're still developing. They're sophomores. Wolanin is 4th on the team in +/- (second among dmen).

Wolanin should not be considered a depth dman, at least not next year. He's a 4th rounder, he'll be a key cog. Shaw should also produce more offensively the next two years...so after this year I wouldn't consider him a depth dman.

I'm not sure what's up with Evers either. I'm still optimistic about Bast. Do either of them have junior eligibility left after this year? Kiersted was a nice get. By depth dman I meant for next year. He could be really good by the time he's an upperclassman.

Every team needs depth defensemen.

Yeah....forgot about him. He should be pretty solid. He reminds me of Shaw, it may take him a year or two to make an impact but should be nice for depth.

I'm pretty sure he received a pro offer after his freshman year. I'm assuming he'll get one this spring as well. He definitely needs another year so I'm assuming he doesn't leave. I think he is much better than most on this forum.

C. Poolman, C. Wolanin, H. Shaw, C. Johnson, A. Peski, D. Chartrand, J. Reiger There's only room for 1 more (obviously assuming Wolanin doesnt leave). Evers and/or Bast should come in. That's a pretty thin D core. On a side note, is Gabe Bast playing junior B hockey? Looks as though he has 0 points in 5 games since joining the Surrey Knights. I really hope that there is a technical glitch on elite prospects.

Depends on what's really going on with him. Everything they are saying is it's lower body. I initially thought it was a concussion issue but I guess it's not. When he plays he's pretty good.

We'll be alright. Jost or not, we should beat these guys up pretty good.

Exactly, Berry does a great job. However high enders on average will be better than the later round or undrafted guys. UND definitely hit on a few guys several years ago but you can't expect every over ager that comes in to be the next stecher. If that was the case bubs would be making the big big bucks in the NHL. It seems many of these higher end kids went elsewhere the last few years. As noted before we have some really nice dmen in the pipeline they are just a few years away. In the short term we'll be working with more of a "team" mold. Like most other schools we play against

Wolanin was a nice get. Since schmaltz we haven't had any high enders though. We do have a few in the pipeline but they're out a ways.

Stecher actually didnt have it from the get go. His first couple games he looked ok (skated well) but he too had his down games. One of the dumbest posts I have had was saying that Stecher should have been the odd man out starting his sophomore year. Solely because he wasnt that great his freshman year. He got man handled in front of the net towards the end of the year. Obviously that all turned around his sophomore year; he got confidence and put on 20 lbs.

I agree...I think he's a decent freshman. 4 year guy most likely. He had some struggles in a couple of early games and he was written off. By the time he's a senior/junior he's going to be solid.
