  1. I would never ditch the old logo and will continue wearing it until it all falls apart. I will also take all donations of Sioux gear folks do not want. Including those headcovers.
  2. I disagree. Wisco will be as bad of a team as we've seen all season, very similar to CC or Maine. Now we obviously tied Maine because we ran into a hot tendy. But this term of "trap game" is kind of bogus to me. It's hockey, weird outcomes will happen, but not too often. The fact we tied Maine leads me to believe that situation wont pop up for a bit. And one could argue Maine is a better team the wisco (maybe).
  3. Checking is allowed. He didn't hit the head and he didn't leave his feet. He was already kicked out of that game (which probably shouldn't have happened either). Terrible suspension.
  4. I believe he is a C rated skater. Those guys are hit or miss.
  5. Jost is the only potential draftee besides Mattson that will be a lock to get drafted. I believe Hoff could get drafted as well as Gardner. There may be more. Jost and Mattson would be the only top 3-4 rounders.
  6. Agreed, sometimes size plays a large factor. I would be shocked if he goes in the top two rounds.
  7. I am somewhat shocked as Mattson has struggled at the USHL level. You are correct he went back to HS which I would think would hurt his draft stock.
  8. Liam Pecarro (sp?), I know he was injured early onl
  9. I like every one of those names over Fighting Hawks, besides the Blue Jacket's second choice. The second sentence of my OP wasn't my point however.
  10. During the game I thought the Caggs hit was kind of dirty however I just saw the replay on twitter and he hits him directly in the chest. Bogus suspension?
  11. Do they have a Native American nickname/mascot? I'm guessing they would have came up with some better choices.
  12. Haha, or he wanted to decommit and his daddy wouldn't let him
  13. Weird Schloss just received a tweet back from Mark Kunin (Kunin's Dad?) saying that he will be in GF for this weekend's games.
  14. Im not saying it isn't my #2 behind Nodaks, I'm just saying it's bland to me.
  15. Sounds like Kunin bolted WIS....that's a big blow. Boy is college hockey losing out on these higher end players.
  16. Yup your right on Yon, I forgot about him. I could see him coming in and playing a lower line role. I think both Keane and Bowen would really benefit from playing another year of juniors. Mattson's draft stock will obviously take a beating most likely but you're correct, he's another guy that show play one more season in the USHL. It benefited Wilkie a ton. I would like to see most of our guys get the chance to play one more year of juniors and see Berry take a run at those two Finn's playing at Sioux City I believe.
  17. Choosing the name of a local high school isn't unique, which makes the choice rather bland or "blah" to me.
  18. I think he'll get a chance to take it early. You must have read Schloss' Herald aritcle.
  19. The only forwards that are ready are Hoff and Jost. Judging by your senior forward total, Berry will either have to find 2 more or bring in someone that probably isn't 100% ready. Mattson is going back to GRHS after a disappointing dozen USHL games; Keane and Bowen are struggling. Collin Adams isn't tearing up the USHL, but he's putting up some points. He might be young. Other than Hoff and Jost, I can't seem to find one of our forward recruits that are producing at the moment. I could be missing someone.
  20. Which name isn't bland?
  21. Went Nodaks, could live with any I guess. RR is a strong #2.
  22. Should be nice, I've been slightly worried about some of our commits playing in the USHL. None of them, other than Hoff now, are doing anything.
  23. Hrynkiw may be getting close to passing Johnson but everyone needs to remember we have been playing some of the worst teams in the country. The one good thing about Hrynkiw is that he seems to be relatively calm in their where Johnson always looked shakey early on in games. It's Tomeks net when he's back.
