That was his floor. Simo was better in juniors than Mario ever was...he was older though.
-
Based in what he did in his NA and USHL career many teams would have given him offers.
-
All streaming option through the Big10 is top notch.
-
Simo has taken a few steps back this year. We're talking about a guy who went 59 in 58 (28 goals) in the USHL. He had 17 pts in 43 last year. Something is going on there. And the USHL is a MUCH tougher league than the NA. Im all for Gornall playing and Simo sitting (as he's not producing) but it would be nice to get Simo going. As a junior he should be hitting the stat sheet a bit harder. I was projecting him as a guy that, at the very least, put up 20 points this year. From what I hear, Simo is one of the best players in practice. Scores all the time.

If UND gets an offer....they'll have to pounce. Im in the minority, but the Big10 conference will take off here soon in the next few years.
-
Just trying to get Gardner going.
-
Gersich - Gardner - Boeser JJ - Jost- Pogo Yon - Bowen - Gornall Olson- Hoff - Wilkie
-
The only reason i split the poolmans up was due to Wolanin's leaky D play lately. We need his play making ability at a top 4 spot, maybe putting him with T. Poolman will help his confidence.
-
I'll bite. Gerish - Jost - Pogo JJ - Gardner - Boeser Yon - Bowen - Gornall Olson (or Smith) - Hoff - Wilkie We have a good/deep forward group....we should sweep. T. Poolman - C. Wolanin Ausmus - Peski Shaw - C. Poolman

University of North Dakota Hockey 2016 - 2017 Season

It's a good question. Barring an unknown injury, I don't think he'll be ready for the NHL next year. He may need a year in the A similar to Brock Nelson. Boeser has an unreal shot (even by NHL standards) but his release is pretty slow which is why so many of his shots get blocked. He also needs to work on his puck retreival (D game). I honestly think he is a perfect example of a player that needs to stay another year.....but he won't. It's unfortunate that these kids get pushed so fast. And don't think this is a knock on Boeser, the kid's elite. I just think (based on what I've seen from him this year) he could use at least one more year. Kids that make it to the NHL out of the gate dominate college hockey. Also, there's nothing wrong with playing in the A for a year. -

Haha....I don't think they are. So far, I think they are overachieving by a WIDE margin. They should be bottom of the barrel. -

No. The hosts were wondering why Boeser hasnt been doing well. They were inquiring how boeser's skating is, why he hasnt been scoring on the PP. He did note that the plan was that Boeser is leaving after the year. Long story short, they wanted to know why Boeser has been underachieving so much this year. -

Berry is getting grilled on TSN radio right now. -
You guys are cut throat.

Was he referring to his son...who was a good player at RR?
-
I've seen two of their game in the Twin Cities. They are awesome....and very big.
-
Ryan Potulny was a wrecking ball. Shocked he wasnt mentioned already.
-
If we're healthy we're sweeping. Book it.
-
I follow schloss on twitter. That is kind of what I'm referring to. Per his game log he it appears he played on 1/27. Also, bast was out of the lineup again last night.
-
I am confused, it appears he played on 1/27.
-
That I don't know. It was just so obvious that there is no way Toronto could miss something like that. There must have been some reason.

Didn't coyle pull the puck back to the blue line to re-establish possession? When coyle initially caught the puck it was still in the ozone (as well as parise) and that is what everyone (including the announcers) was looking at. However, I could have sworn coyle pulled the puck back to the blue line.
-
Yeah, it just came out of right field. as it relates to NE, Look who they ran into. They may have had better luck against another team.
-
....and? What I am trying to say is that Providence may be a better team after the the Goph's Novak loss. Also, the ref's start swallowing their whistles come tourney time...the gophs are much easier when they don't sit on the PP the entire game.
-
I think Prov would be tougher than MN. The gophs just lost Novak for the season and Providence has been on fire.
