I follow schloss on twitter. That is kind of what I'm referring to. Per his game log he it appears he played on 1/27. Also, bast was out of the lineup again last night.
Didn't coyle pull the puck back to the blue line to re-establish possession? When coyle initially caught the puck it was still in the ozone (as well as parise) and that is what everyone (including the announcers) was looking at. However, I could have sworn coyle pulled the puck back to the blue line.
....and? What I am trying to say is that Providence may be a better team after the the Goph's Novak loss. Also, the ref's start swallowing their whistles come tourney time...the gophs are much easier when they don't sit on the PP the entire game.
I agree. He was a key cog.
When he's the focus he is relatively easy (for good teams) to contain. His release needs to speed up and his motor needs work. These were masked playing with caggs and schmaltz last year. But he's young, he just needs to keep developing.
He was shaky last night. But at least he trying to generate offense. After watching last night, I think him, gersich and poolman are the only players trying to generate offense.
The D wasn't the problem last night. Scsu didn't generate much whatsoever. There was one extremely weak goal and two deflections. The problem is that we don't have guys going to the net. We hold onto the puck far too long and are only getting perimeter shots where the goalies have gear looks.
