  1. Not in a scoring role . Wilkie was an overager when he had his big year
  2. Depends. I was shocked luke got a few games this season. I also heard he lost some mass and worked on his speed a bunch. Luke is a good player. luke did well in juniors too.
  3. Ya agreed. That’s what I was saying
  4. I wish he never would have left. Kids taking off after an underclassmen season? Embarrassing.
  5. Agreed, I doubt he ever plays in the nhl but he seems to give his all most games.
  6. Cc is not good...but they’d crush canisius. And yes, they do have some talented players.
  7. Agreed.
  8. Another ugly game. Went our way though.
  9. He probably bolted a little early but he was clearly in Berry’s doghouse. I’m sure his starting spot wasnt guaranteed as a junior so he bolted to give himself more time. He’d be one of our better players this year.
  10. Clearly you haven’t checked this year's Stat sheet
  11. What a terrible hit
  12. Nope….I gotta feeling
  13. A sweep. 7-1, 4-3
  14. I am so sick of these types of articles. The whole goal is to calm down the fanbase. It's been a week, I think many folks have already calmed and came to the realization that we'll need some heavy luck to get into the NCAAs. You kind of just have to let it play out now. Two wins this weekend.
  15. Without solid special teams no team will do well in college hockey. Without a solid PP it can be extremely tough to get through the NCAA tourney.
  16. The BCHL is a solid league....best in the Canadian circuit when speaking about junior A hockey. But it doesn't really come all that close to the depth of the USHL. If you avg a pt/gm in the USHL, more likely than not, you'll be a good college hockey player. If you tear apart the BCHL, more likely than not, you'll be a solid college hockey player. While very good players play in the BCHL there simply isn't the depth of talent. So scoring is much easier in the BC. You also have to factor in a players age. Sometimes the guys that are dominating the BC are 20-21 years old.....you have to take that into consideration as well. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. However I lean towards players having better success in the USHL.
  17. True, but they'll be young. Agree, here's to hoping.
  18. Agreed, that is always the case. But they are freshman and most won't make the impact we all think they will in year one. We critically need continued development from this year's frosh, Soph, and Junior classes. So important, can't put too much on the incoming class. If you're looking for the incoming class to save the day you're in for a long year (i.e. this year )
  19. Good post. Well I can honestly say there is probably no one on this board that can provide great constructive criticism them (as far as answers go). However Bubs does need to let the boys play with a tad more creativity in the ozone (5x5 and PP). But this is a public forum, so stating a fact (i.e. we used to recruit better (not that it's bad right now), we used to play with more consistency, we used to win more often, etc.) shouldn't allow others to think of them as irrational. I do like your post though.
  20. Good points, and most of it is accurate. I would ask, when are you allowed to constructively criticize then? There has obviously been a short (2.5 year), but sharp, downward trend in the level of play (specifically around the offensive side of the puck). Also, while we have some nice recruits coming in next year and some the year after, I wouldn't necessarily say we are lighting the world on fire as it relates to recruits like we used too. I guess I am comparing us to the traditional college hockey powers. I am interested in Pinto, Halliday sure seems like he may be a blue chip, Sanderson/Kleven sure seem like they could be developing into something in the blue chip area. Don't get me wrong, I am intrigued with the collection of players we have coming in the next few years and recruiting seems to be getting better than the past two years but I am not absolutely blown away either. And that's fine. Time will tell how these kids continue to develop. I do think we'll need to turn the level of play around here to continue to win those recruiting battles. I still think we don't have an '03 commit, which again, is fine as they're young but there are a ton of 03's off the board already. In summary, I do think it's fair to start wondering where everything is going. Hopefully things turn around a bit here.
  21. Ok that probably makes some sense
  22. Haha...ya I get what the word means. Maybe I should have stated the timing wasn’t appropriate, because fans questioning what’s going on isn’t all that crazy right now. Again, criticism is warranted right now...this isn’t an “over reaction”
  23. Because it was a terrible comparison.
  24. On the other hand I just read TH's tweet saying "Fire Saban"....there is absolutely an entire universe between the two situations. Not that I think Bubs should get let go, but that analogy make's him sound very unintelligent even though he's joking.
