I think everytime Chris Semrau is on one of the local radio shows, he is asked this question. This isn't something that they haven't been made aware of, but have just passed on the idea up to this point.

The N-word is a commonly known racial slur.....Frogs on the other hand...........if we set up a poll on here, how many would even have any clue that the term Frog offended anyone?

I find it interesting that the same few people keep talking about lacrosse on this message board. I think that shows you the kind of interest there is here for that sport. I'm not knocking the sport or the proponents of it, just that it will take a while to grow that sport if they ever would add it.

The Ralph was lucky to get the game times they did when the NCAA set them back when the tickets were first sold last October. They didn't just set the game times over the weekend, the NCAA did so 6 months ago.

No kidding I like a lot of different music from a lot of different eras.

That specific article has been talked about a lot on this site, especially when it was written. They take a nice shot at Grand Forks right away in the article, not that it is a big surprise to frequent readers of that site. Saying that Goehring got significant playing time in that article still does not fall under their whole article's theory of a curse on UND's goaltending. They try and gloss over the fact that he won a national championship and was runner up the next year. He re-wrote the record book at UND for goaltenders and had an outstanding career. If they left him out of that article, it would have probably been a little more well received.

I have no problem reading people's concerns/complaints about the Betty. If you don't like them, don't read them. Of course we can't replace the Betty now and we are not going to be sticking money into Hyslop, but addressing the problems about our current situation is definitely a worthwhile thread.
