UND is far from being a big time school so I don't think the FSSN will be appearing on satellite television anytime soon. There is just not enough content or programming on the FSSN for any satellite company to carry it. There are still plenty of tv markets that are fighting to get their local television channels on satellite.

They have had more than a week's time to get ready for this game. They even said so in that press release.

They do have that rule, but once Winona returns their unpurchased seats, anyone can buy tickets in that area, including students if they wanted to. What I find ridiculous is Alerus Center security has allowed visiting fans to go and sit in the general admission student section in the past. Two years ago, about 20 fans did this from a visiting team and it just about caused a riot in the stands and the security ended up kicking out a bunch of UND students. If they want to apply this policy of not allowing the students to move once the game has started and nobody is showing up in those sections, than the policy has to be applied across the board.

You've seen 2 periods of Walski play and now he should be the #2 guy? Have you been to all of the practices to see how the goaltenders perform there as well? We only see a glimpse of these players for a couple hours every weekend, I think I'll trust the coaches to who they think the starting and backup goalies should be.

The argument of "eliminating fighting to expand the fan base" does not fly with me. Are there people who do not like fighting and therefore do not watch? of course, but I don't believe by banning fighting, hockey will see this huge influx of supporters and followers that some people claim will happen.

I don't think that is a fair question. So you are saying that a person who likes fighting in the NHL, can't like college hockey because it doesn't have fighting?

Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. Both teams were very chippy throughout the game on friday night and when the Sioux were getting beat/embarassed they said enough with this and called them out, when confronted, the Maine player turtled to the ice.
